They disappeared somewhere in one of my parents moves while I was in the Navy, so I'm loving getting them back and am slowly rebuilding my list of favorites. The Time Machine was my all-time favorite of the Classics Illustrated and this is a faithful reproduction of the original. The fact that they are on glossy paper rather than the old newsprint makes Lou Cameron's great artwork even more vivid. I have read the original Wells novel many times over the years, but I think I like the Classics version the best. They made some changes to the plot (mainly the unfortunate demise of Weena) to make to make it more palatable for younger readers. It has been very nice to read and re-read this great Classics version again after many years.
