Perfect switch for Club Car Precedent brake lights
Used on a Club Car Precedent for brake lights. Replaced the pressure switch pad that screwed onto the brake pedal with this for a much cleaner setup.

1999 Kawasaki 800 Vulcan Classic: Issues installing but for the price...
First... "Universal Fit" essentially means it fits nothing. There is a unique plastic nut that the switch screws into. It would require grinding it off to remove it. I didn't want to do that. But the threads on it do not match the threads on this switch (12 X 1.75mm). So I ran a tap down the nut. Took care of that issue. Next... you can't use the spring that comes with it because there is no room for it. You can't use the original spring because the internal spring in this switch is too strong. But I found that by carefully determining the exact length I fashioned a simply link from the long end of the new spring. The key is to have just a little slack with the pedal 'up'. Get that right and there is no need for a spring.

Bought for a 82 Kawasaki KZ550C LTD
I will say it fit on the bike like a glove. wire length were perfectly sized not to little or to much slack. The plastic build quality felt relatively cheap but considering since the job the part serves doesn't experience that much stress so I'm not worried about that. However on my original brake sensor the nuts were made of metal instead of the plastic like this new sensor and because of that you can't get the nuts as tight without damaging them so I'll have to get thread locker or just watch it for movement or the nuts backing off. Other than that hardest part of the installation was they provide a spring linkage and it's super long so I had to use two needle nose pliers to adjust and cut the size of the provided spring linkage to the right size. I believe compared to the original sensor this new sensor is more sensitive and works well. Considering it's price id say it's well worth the price.

I ordered this to replace the faulted brake switch for my 1978 GS550 which has a drum brake. I had two issues with it: 1. The male bullet style connectors that came on this were slightly smaller than the ones on the factory brake switch. I had to cut them off and crimp on bigger connectors so that they would fit. The bigger bullet connector seems to be more common on most bikes, so IMO it should just come with the bigger ones instead. 2. The spring that it came with wasn't long enough to connect to the groove on my factory brake linkage. It was probably an inch too short. It would be nice if the spring was simply longer on the straight end to account for this. You could then easily just cut it shorter if you needed. Thankfully, the spring from my old brake switch was still intact and I simply re-used it. Neither of these was a huge deal as I had the parts/pieces to deal with it, but something to be aware of if you don't. To me, it was absolutely worth it for $8, but not perfect.
