Love this pen. The Jotter XL is a larger version of the standard and iconic stainless-steel Jotter that Parker has been making for decades. It is legendary for the most satisfying ‘clicky’ noise of any retractable biro. I think this black version is a cool variation on the standard steel version of the XL. This larger version is ideal for people who have bigger hands or apricate a slightly bigger pen in the hand. It works with all standard parker biro refills (and third-party versions), I have tried mine with both the classic and newer gel refills and both are smooth and track free, you do have to apply slightly more pressure with the classic refill, but this is typical for the pen type. A classic pen totally worth the money.

I really like the Monochrome Matte Black finish on this fairly priced Parker Pen & I like the fact that there’s a Roller Ball option in this style as well as a Fountain Pen. It comes with blue ink & I prefer writing in black ink & the ink refills are relatively inexpensive so this isn’t a big issue. It’s nice & weighty (not too heavy or too light) making it easy to write with & the ink just flows evenly & smoothly & this is with the blue ink pictured for this review & I’ve since put a black ink refill in & it’s exactly the same fine quality writing. I have read about poor ink flow on here but I still went ahead & bought this as I thought to myself ‘that has got to be down to the ink refill cartridge & not the pen’ as the pen really like most pens is just a carrying case for the ink. It’s a nice pen, it writes it’s smart too if that’s your style.

It's a parker pen. Nothing amazing about it, it's like the cheapest version. It works but then it's sometimes just down to the ink cartridge. The cartridge that come in this pen however flows very nicely.

The Parker Jotter XL is definitely a step up from the regular Jotter. It writes really well, with smooth ink flow and a comfortable grip, making it a pleasure to use for both short and long writing sessions. The larger size gives it a more substantial feel compared to the standard Jotter, which is a nice touch. It also comes presented in a nice box, making it a great option for gifting or personal use. The overall build quality is excellent, and it feels like a premium pen without the high price tag. 5 stars – A better writing experience than the Jotter, with excellent presentation.

Very smart looking and great size for my hands. I immediately switched the ink to a black ink refill though so I cannot comment on the default blue, but the black one works fine and is a good fit.

Dass Parker ein Hersteller von hochwertigen Schreibgeräten ist, das muss ich keinem mehr erzählen. Der goldfarbene Jotter XL ist so retro, dass er wieder cool ist. Und als XL ist er für mich mit meinen riesen Pranken optimal geeignet. Fühlt sich gut an, liegt gut in der Hand und schreiben lässt sich damit hervorragend. Bin sehr happy, dass ich den XL entdeckt habe.

Ist etwas größer als der normale Jotter und liegt dadurch etwas besser in der Hand. Auch das Plastikgehäse scheint zu helfen da es etwas weniger rutschig zu sein scheint. Für alle die einen eleganten Kugelschreiber wollen ohne zu tief in die Tasche greifen zu müssen und für die der normale Jotter zu klein ist empfehle ich es diesen auszuprobieren.

Der Jotter XL in Edelstahl fühlt sich gut an. Leider ist billig gefertigt. Außen Metall und Innen Plastik. Die Passung am Gewinde ist nicht wirklich centrisch. Das ist nicht die Qualität die ich erwarten kann. Der alte Jotter in Edelstahl war kleiner, aber wesentlich besser gefertigt. Hier ist der Druckknopf auch ohne PARKER Zeichen = wirkt leider nur billig. Sehr, sehr schade....

Metal at the top and plastic Inside. I've bought third pen like this and have the same problem. It's broken in the middle
