It looks so beautiful in person. The distressed look is perfect to hide any pet dander (we have two cats and a dog) and also if the kids ever stain it (I’m sure this is inevitable) it will not be noticeable. We have received so many compliments on the rug. I can’t get over how much it has brightened our room up. The rug was shipped to us rolled in plastic and rolled out very easily with no ripples or bumps in the rug which was wonderful as we have had issues with that in the past. ### ⭐⭐ Strong Chemical Smell Doesn't Go Away *by E***W on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2020* I would not recommend buying this rug if it's to be used in a living space. It is a nice looking rug, but it has an extremely strong glue or dye smell. I purchased this rug nearly 6 months ago, and had it professionally cleaned, and shampooed it myself at least 4 times (front AND back), and aired it out in the sun, but it still makes an entire bedroom smell of off-gassing chemicals. No recourse beyond the 30 day return window, so if it smells when you receive it, it's not going to get better and you would be wise to just return it rather than think you can "air it out". ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent quality for the price. *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2020* This is a nice rug overall. It's low-pile and seems to be holding up well in a high traffic area. Even though there is a coffee table on top of it, those areas don't stay matted down badly if the table is moved, which is really nice. The rug unrolled quickly and doesn't move around (with a non-slip rug pad underneath). It had a mild funky chemical smell, but fortunately that didn't last terribly long. The colors are not quite as intense as shown online and are a little less attractive overall. However, the pattern is nice and gives the room some nice modern, tribal flair.
