I'm getting speeds of 2400MB/sec for both read/write, which was much faster than Apple's own NVMe drive, which through the years has slowed down to 800MB Write and about 2000MB Read. I used SuperDuper to transfer my the entire contents of my existing system onto an external drive, then onto the new flash drive connect through Thunderbolt 3.
