Are these compatible with Dolby digital 5.1?

There’s an optical input so the speakers can receive a 5.1 signal but this is a stereo system with only 2 speakers so only 2 channels of any 5.1 signal would be audible. There is a “sub-out” port where you can connect a sub-bass speaker, so if you did this you’d hear a total of 3 channels of the 5.1 signal. If your source signal is 5.1 then you ideally need a 5.1 speaker system, not stereo + sub (2.1).

How do you connect a 3rd speaker?

If by 3rd Speaker, you mean a Subwoofer, then yes there is SUB OUT connection on the rear of the RHS speaker. If you search, Edifier do have just the thing.

Can you listen to two devices at the same time ie. Xbox through optical and pc through aux

You can only have one input play at one time but you can have multiple things connected at the same time just change input so you can have one device connected on optical then another on aux but can only play one at a time

Can I use these without Bluetooth

Hi yes you can just plug in using the 2 x RCA to 2 x RCA lead or 2 x RCA lead to 3.5mm jack lead which comes with them.
