Fireproof: A Five-Step Model to Take Your Law Firm from Unpredictable to Wildly Profitable [Morse, Mike, Nachazel, John] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Fireproof: A Five-Step Model to Take Your Law Firm from Unpredictable to Wildly Profitable Review: I READ IT IN ONE SITTING! ITS THE BLUEPRINT FOR SUCCESS! - Recently opened my firm in Los Angeles and stumbled upon this book. I grew up in Detroit suburbs so I was familiar with Mike Morse as lawyer whose ads I’ve seen- this book changed everything I thought I knew! This is not written by a “TV lawyer” it is written by someone who thought to use every asset (from his people skills from waiting tables to letting employees excel at what they like) in his firm in the most efficient manner possible. This book is for the driven, forward-thinking law firm owner who puts clients and employees at the center of the business. If you want to create true and lasting value here’s the recipe for the secret sauce. The book is practical, easy to read and very comprehensive. You’ll know what to research if you want more information on a nuanced topic. It’s apparent that the law firm Mike Morse built functions as single unit with independent miniature replicas within. The book is really inspiring in Morse’s candid tone about the mentorship of his father in law, dramatic hardships like building fire and real life happening while running a law firm. I had no idea that the book would be this good and can’t imagine running my firm without this. I immediately bought a copy for my COO who is onboarding shortly and IT WILL BE REQUIRED READING FOR MY EXECUTIVE TEAM AND ALL MANAGEMENT! Review: Fireproof: A Clear, Data‑Driven Guide for Marketing & Scaling Law Firms - I enjoyed this book as a digital marketer! It gave me an excellent overview of how personal injury law firms operate. It’s easy to read and understand, with practical marketing strategies and valuable insights into how teams and staff work within those firms. The emphasis on data-driven decision-making in marketing clearly shows how to boost profitability. Additionally, it underscores the value of hiring a business coach to elevate your firm to the next level. I highly recommend this book!

Important book for law firms owners and attorneys
This is a great book not just for law firm owners, but for any attorney who wants to improve their business development skills. Mike Morse generously provides insights into how he has overcome adversity as an attorney and developed a highly profitable business. This book is well worth the read.

Practical advise for any business owner!
As a business owner, not a lawyer, this book was wildly beneficial. Our company also runs on the EOS framework and has benefitted from the systems and metrics we have created. But Mike and John dig so much deeper into how to run a business! The authors reference more business-leadership icons (e.g., Patrick Lencioni and Jim Collins) than they do other lawyers or firms. Mike’s candor about his early struggles reveals how hard he had to work, not only on his business but on himself. Some key takeaways: -Practice law like a business -The right people following the core values of any business is a recipe for success -Track key metrics to know if you’re ahead or behind. He uses a “Jumbotron” -Make your marketing stand out like “Cherry Garcia” -If you’re the ‘visionary’ leader, you must find your ‘integrator’. This book is an easy read and has practical advice for any business owner or COO. The reader can take the lessons and start implementing them in their business today. I appreciated the free resources on his website, including the Jumbotron template. Thanks for writing a great book!

Take a Look Inside Yourself In Order to Build Something Great
I am a younger solo attorney focused on building a practice of my own. I read this book at a time during the COVID pandemic when my phone was not ringing much as it was the year prior and I had a lot of down time to think about myself and what I wanted to accomplish with my practice. This book is written in first person as if Mike is talking to you- and it very much feels like a pep talk (much like the ones Mike gets from mentors and relatives throughout the book). There is lot of great content here for attorneys that want to take the next step towards sustainability and measured growth. I, like Mike, experience a lot of uncertainty and my income can look like a roller coaster month to month. Mike has demonstrated here that entrepreneurial practices and stepping outside of ones comfort zone in the traditional "lawyer" role is the best way to achieve growth. Thanks to Mike and John for the shot in the arm I needed. This book deserves a place among the essential read list for younger attorneys looking to learn from a seasoned pro.

One of the Most Important Books any Law Firm Owner can Read
I feel like I have read almost every single business book applicable to law firms from e-myth to How to Build a Law Firm and from Traction to You Can’t Teach Hungry. Fireproof is by far the best law firm management book that I have read and it can be easily implemented into any practice. It is incredible how the ideas in the book are so simple and yet many of us never think of them because we are too focused on the day to day activities of being lawyers. I have owned my own firm for 19 years and I still learned so many things from this book. If you own your own firm or if you are thinking about starting your own firm, purchase this book! I wish I had when I started.

A Must Read Even for the Most Experienced and Successful Lawyer
I have been practicing law for 30 years and run a very successful law firm. Still, this book provided insight, advice, and ideas that I found very useful. More importantly, I found myself highlighting, making notes in the margins, and actually implementing the concepts in my already successful law firm. As they say, "you don't know what you don't know", and Mike's book provided me with a long list of things I didn't know or didn't remember I had learned in business school years ago. I recommend that every plaintiff lawyer read this book. Marc Wites, Wites & Rogers, Lighthouse Point, FL

I listened to Mike Morse’s interview on the Earley Show Podcast by Chris Earley, where he mentioned his book Fireproof, and I knew I had to get it immediately because he discussed most of the issues I was dealing with. Upon reading the book, I wasn’t disappointed with the wisdom contained in the book. Indeed, I wish I had read the book five years ago. I plan to implement the suggestions Mike made in the book. I am starting with the first two suggestions: (1) Delegate and elevate; (2) Employ an integrator in my law firm. I have been the Managing Partner of my law firm in Nigeria for the past ten years, and I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful book to all Managing Partners and aspiring partners in law firms worldwide.

I had seen some recommendations for this book so decided to get a copy to see what all the fuss was about. Now that I've finished it, I can confirm that the hype is legitimate. Mike explains the secrets behinds his own firm's super success and sets out actionable steps for how to apply them to your own firm. He admits that not everything he does will work for smaller firms (especially TV advertising) but then suggests ways to use the same principles in ways that will work. Even though the whole book was filled with useful information, there were a couple of "a-ha" moments that really stood out for me. I honestly believe they will change the future trajectory of my firm. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has their own law firm. In fact, I think that anyone who works in any business would benefit as the ideas are universal.

One of the book's primary strengths is its actionable advice. Morse doesn't just offer abstract theories; he provides concrete steps and real-world examples that any lawyer can implement. His candid recounting of his own firm's journey—from its early struggles to its ultimate success—offers valuable insights and inspiration. The book is also highly accessible. Morse writes in a straightforward, engaging manner, making complex business concepts easy to understand. The five-step model is clearly laid out, with each chapter building on the previous one to create a comprehensive roadmap for success.
