I have only personally had Estwing products from the 🇺🇸 USA or Taiwan, which when considering how much Taiwan even existing bothers China, buying Taiwanese is OK with me, but domestic is of course preferable. This is the first Estwing product I have bought that was of Japanese origin though. **Q: What is thr Metal used to make this?** A: It's tempered steel and chromed. It can take a beating, within reason of course... I haven't had a rust issue with these, but I would imagine they would rust if not stored in a dry container... **Q: Does anyone know the max width of the teardrop nail puller claw? My other Estwing is 3/4" which is too big.** A: Teardrop nail puller end measures 1/2” at the narrowest part and flares out to 5/8”. I find this a very useful, quality tool **Q: I need a tool that’ll remove a flat nail from a fascia or metal without much damage. Will this work for me?** A: A fish tail pry bar like this one is the tool of choice for minimising damage when removing nails. The Estwing's fishtail is pretty thick...as a matter of preference I ground mine down slightly to thin the edge.
