Great product
This free view box works as required and tuned fine from my existing house aerial with over a 150 channels . This was exactly what I needed as my smart TV air receiver had broken and I utilized the HDMI from box to TV making it easy to use live TV channels

Eventually the pros outweighed the cons.
This is a remarkable piece of kit, not particularly user friendly but worth perservering with. (I like to think I am AV savvy). It is incompletely engineered, the consumer is being tested. Setting up is relatively easy but the instructions are unclear and in some instances misleading. Do not try to "channel hop", this device crashes easily, some reviewers reported the remote not working, it does, the device is unresponsive! Switch off & on to clear. If, as I did in frustration keep pressing any button to try and find either a menu or submenu there is a corruption potential. This triggers a manufacturers reset. OK afterwards. Having said all that, the picture & sound options are punching above weight. Recording to a flash drive eventually sorted after ignoring the instructions. By being careful to avoid crashing this is useful to have in the spare room concept where multi tasking and frequent button tapping are less likely. Would I buy again? probably not. If it gives anymore time wasting grief it may go back.

Waste of Money
Very annoying piece of equipment. Ordered this to watch a particular channel and for the size of buttons on the remote control, others were very tiny. The box doesn't come on straight away. You have to turn the volume up to an unrealistic amount to hear the tv. The screen switches between a black and then back to the tv picture intermittently. I even switched over the channel thinking this would stop it but it doesn't. The EPG is a pain, I wanted the weekly mode, it automatically set to the daily mode so you need to keep changing it. When using the EPG, it doesn't have the tv channel numbers only the names - how can you switch between channels when you cannot input the name. Would not have given it a star at all. Returning the item.

Simplicity and quality
Works perfectly straight out of the wrapper. No problems with it at all. Picture and sound quality fine. Just the job.

User Experience is clunky, but it does the job!
Superb value for money. It's only 720p, but the picture is clear and sound is excellent. My only complaint is how clunky the user interface is. Menu's don’t really appear like other units I've seen, but it was only £23, so you won’t hear me complain too loudly! Went from zero channels to well over 100... a cot of around 23p per channel...not at all bad.

Good quality.
Easy set up.flash drive required for recording. Cannot record and watch another channel which is disappointing.
