Does what it says on the Tin. Simple to use, works well and consistently, and comes in a reasonable case. The only negative may be that the tension wheel (the little wheel on the slide to apply consistent force) is not really effective, but that is a common problem across a wide range of Verniers as the limited force tends to mean that they all slip far to readily, or grab on and compress any softer materials. So a good simple Vernier as a toolbox must.

Just got these for a Christmas Present, for someone. Seem to be well made as they have a weight behind them. That being said, there might be problems later on. It is very easy to switch the unit on, accidently, so could get switched on, while in the case and one wouldn't see, doesn't say as to whether it automatically switches off or not, so could go through the batteries. They are a standard LR44, 357 battery, easily sourced. Comes with 2 spare batteries, haven't opened it up, to find out if it takes 1 or 2 of the batteries. The battery compartment has a single screw securing it, and a screwdriver is supplied. The buttons on the digital scale are, on/off, inch/mm and to zero the settings. The Operating Instructions that came with the gauge, is for a 300mm gauge and this is a 150mm gauge???? The case seems to be sturdy enough. Nicely cut out for the gauge etc. The only major problem, that I can see, is the Orange and White, scale strip, seems to be made of a PAPER STRIP, which would get easily stained, marked etc, and rubbed out with the cleaning of it.. Would have thought it would have been a PLASTIC STRIP, so you would have to rely on the digital read out, which is very clear. I don't know if other gauges are a paper or plastic strip. Would I purchase again, would check others to see if they have a PLASTIC STRIP or not FIRST. If they were all the same, then no reason not to purchase again. Hope this helps you decide.

Ordered this to measure various wire and bolt thicknesses. Arrived the following day after ordering and used it straight away. Seems pretty accurate for the money and seems good quality. Hopefully should last a few years. A few spare batteries came with the vernier measure. For the money it was a good buy.

Solid built, easy to use and accurate. Comes with a solid plastic case, screwdriver and extra pair of cell batteries. It’s accurate, tested with calibrated shims. Extremely easy to use and it’s been doing his job perfectly.

This item arrived safe and well packaged. If you've ever used a wobbly transparent plastic ruler with faded printed lines across it to measure a length, you'll know how inaccurate that would be in most engineering circumstances! This rule is the answer!! Just open/close the jaws onto the item, then read the digital display! It really can't be simpler at all! I am pleased that this has both external and internal callipers, as well as a depth gauge too. This really can measure anything! As someone that dabbles in 3d design, I can't stress how useful it is to have 1 digital device that can do everything this can. Oh and the hard plastic case that this comes with is so helpful too. If any kind of angle precision is required, then a gadget like this is absolutely essential! I highly recommend this product.

Bought this just over 3 months ago, used it once and put it in the cupboard. Now I’ve come to use it the battery is flat. I haven’t measured the current drain whilst ‘off’ but this is rather disappointing. As it’s easy to slide the battery in I will leave it out until ready to use. This caliper loses another star because opening it past 65mm is so stiff you’d think it was jammed. The overall stiffness detracts from it’s ease of use. Returns to zero when closed and it provided repeatable measurements so it’s good enough for most home hobby situations.

In meinem Werkzeugkasten hat ein Messschieber noch gefehlt. Den hatte ich schon lange auf meiner Liste. Doch es sollte ein digitaler Messschieber sein. Das Gerät wurde sehr schnell von Amazon geliefert. Es kommt in seinem eigenen Plastik-Case und, was ich besonders positiv bemerken möchte, mit Batterien und Ersatzbatterien. Damit kann ich sicher lange messen. Das Gerät ist aus Metall und absolut robust. Für die Messungen, die ich damit zu Hause vornehme, reicht die Präzision vollkommen aus. Die Bedienung ist unproblematisch. Einschalten und messen. Einzig und allein die aufgeklebte Skala macht einen etwas minderwertigeren Eindruck. Doch das ist bei einem digitalen Messschieber nicht ausschlaggeben. Zum Zeitpunkt des Kaufs lag der von mir erworbene Messchieber von Wukong bei 18,99 €. Zum Zeitpunkt der Rezension liegt der Preis jetzt allerdings bei 25,99 €. Meine Pries-Leistungs-Bewertung bezieht sich auf den Zeitpunkt des Erwerbs durch mich.

Très précis le 0 et se trouve toujours même après plusieurs mesures sans réinitialisé. Le cadran est solide et assez gros, ce qui permet une lecture facile, La molette fonctionne très bien, mais étant solidaire du boitier d'affichage en allu, elle est parfaite . Cela aboutie a un un coulissement parfait et précis. Idem pour la vis de blocage arrière, ça fait le job En résumé, un très bon pied à coulisse malgré des impressions mitigées concernant le boitier de lecture. Je recommande! Bonne journée

Acquistato questo calibro digitale perché per poter eseguire controlli dettagliati dopo le stampe in 3D e per controllo accurati in mm. Arrivato in una bella confezione in plastica, semplice ma robusta, con un piccolo cacciavite e 2 pile di ricambio. Completamente in acciaio e da un bel peso dà proprio l'impressione di una buona robustezza. Ha un bel display per la lettura. Un tasto per la selezione da in mm a pollici.
