A product that lives up to its name!
I love the Miracle Blanket! It definitely lives up to its name! As an infant caretaker, I have used them with many children. I now purchased one for my own son, and soon bought more colors! We had multiple types of swaddles--blankets, velcro styles, etc.--and this is the only one that worked for us. It keeps the baby's arms at his sides, compared to most which wrap the arms on his chest. This makes it harder for him to break out and scrunch the fabric by his face (as happened with other swaddles as he tried to bring his hands to his mouth). He is just now, around 4 months, getting a little too long for it, to where he can scrunch it with his arms. Leaving his arms at his aides also stops him from trying to roll, which was possible in some others (note: babies who can roll over should not be swaddles; my son rolled from back to side the day we came home from the hospital and was closely monitored which sleeping). I appreciate that while it ends up putting several layers around baby, it is lightweight, breathable cotton. On hot nights, I only used a short sleeve onesie underneath to prevent overheating. I wish there was a way to secure the end piece of fabric as it always scared me a little to have a loose piece hanging around, but it never got near his face. There is definitely a learning curve in trying to get it positioned and tightened perfectly for your baby. We wrapped it slightly differently at different times based on his needs (e.g wrapping it higher or lower, leaving his legs out, etc.). I recommend these to everyone I know! They are definitely the best swaddle on the market. My baby fought getting in them for a little while, but they calm him so well, and now just the routine of wrapping him in starts to calm him! If you need a miracle to help your baby sleep better, this is it!

A Miracle Blanket for sure!
Summary: A great summer weight swaddle blanket. Lengthened my 6 week old's night sleep by 2 hours. I have a large, breast fed, very active, very strong infant who is great at breaking free and often wiggles her legs out of the blanket when she wakes up, but during her sleep seems very comfortable. I bought the Miracle blanket looking for a lightweight summertime swaddle for my June baby. She was 9 lbs when born and was breaking out of our blankets (my 3rd child, so I know how to wrap a swaddle). I was suspicious of the Miracle Blanket working, but after the second or third night I saw our longest stretch at night go from 4 hours to 6 hours. We have been using it for a little over a week and she has had 3 six hour night sleeps at only 7 weeks old. Granted she is a bigger baby and seems to generally be a good sleeper. She will work her legs out of it a lot and work her arms out occasionally, but rarely when I swaddle her (I always make sure she can move her arms a bit and it isn't super tight on them). There is definitely a difference on the nights we sleep in another sleep sack as she wakes up every 2-3 hours and sometimes has to end up sleeping on me. It is a nice light blanket for summer sleeping. We live in California and in the middle of the night the room gets pretty cool, so I wrap another double layer muslin blanket just around her lower body 1 time to make her extra cozy and she sleeps really well. I think some of her early morning waking was due to being cold. My daughter is a 100% breast fed baby. I'm very surprised that we are getting such long stretches from her. I attribute this partly to her temperment, size, but also the blanket does seem to make her comfortable. She is a very strong and active infant and this blanket works for her. Give it a few days and be consistent about putting them to sleep in it. After 3 days or so, she stops crying after I get her arms swaddled down and almost falls asleep in the wrap phase.

Helps contain those flailing arms keeping baby awake
I was swaddling my baby in a regular receiving blanket until I received this as a gift. To be honest I found the receiving blanket was better for the newborn as it was easy to wrap around him and he stayed put. When baby turned 12wks old I started watching for tiredness to set him down for regular naps and this coincided with reading that wide open eyes and flailing, moving limbs are signs of over-stimulation and tiredness. Realising this, I started swaddling him again, this time in the miracle blanket because he was too big and strong for receiving blankets. Now that he does not have legs waving around and fingers poking him in the face he settles down quickly, relaxes and drifts off to sleep while I sit with him talking and singing quietly. He even settled down and started drifting off to sleep one day after a crying jag that I thought was due to tiredness. I realised that I miscalculated the time and it had been three hours not two since he had last been fed so he was hungry not sleepy! Babies sure can get their message across. But the point is that the blanket settled him when he was not actually tired but was crying for another reason. I was using the flaps to fold his arms across the front of his body. It was not until I looked up this product to buy one for a friend (and write this review) that I saw his arms are meant to go along his sides. I had thought it had one flap too many but those directions make sense. The long flap is a little long. I put it over him, then under him and just let the excess lay beside him. Sometimes I just fold it over him and push a little of it under his back to hold it down. I recommend this soft, comfortable miracle blanket and am about to buy one for a friend.

Ottimo prodotto. Ci avevo provato con altri modelli, ed il mio bimbo riusciva sempre a liberarsi. Con questo, rimane bello avvolto tutta la notte e, secondo me, dorme più sereno.

Easy-to-use and safe, this swaddle is saving our nights! He is sleeping 7 hours in a row! Just be careful, you can't swaddle your baby anymore after s/he can roll.
