"Show Me the Way to Go Home" could have been the theme song for the fourth "Trek" TV incarnation, in which Captain Kathryn Janeway and her crew are left stranded in a distant section of the galaxy and undertake a perilous journey to find their way home. Kate Mulgrew, Robert Beltran, Roxann Biggs-Dawson, Robert Duncan McNeill, Robert Picardo, Tim Russ, and Garrett Wang starred in the 1995-2001 UPN series. Special collection includes the boxed sets of seasons one through seven of "Star Trek Voyager."172 episodes on 47 discs. 130 hrs. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English; photo gallery; featurettes; interviews; outtakes. Review: Needs new case - These are wonderful dvds but the case for storing them is awkward and may damage the disks. I recommend you purchase a binder and dvd sleeves. Review: Great series, frustrating user interface on these DVDs. - Great series, frustrating user interface on these DVDs. I'll bet the animated ship jetting off into the distance was cool when these came out, but now it is just clunky.

An amazing presentation for DVD
One of my favorite Trek series. Just started watching and so far so good. Because the special effects during a certain time were done on video it is very expensive to make a bluray version. Next generation cost Paramount a fortune to convert to HD, so DVD it is for "lesser" series. The good news is the picture is fantastic. Part of it is my 4k bluray player. Color is rich, great detail, even on material as low as two megabites a second. But they've done a lot with DVD lately, as much as they could manage without going past spec. If you want great looking DVD my sugestion would be a decent 4k bluray player, even an inexpensive one would help. Until tech fixes the problem of video special effects effects heavy material is going to be DVD. If you are a fan of such material get a 4k player. The picture I'm getting off of this set is fantastic.

Excellent quality all around
I feel comfortable writing this review after only watching the first four seasons. Discs are of high-quality and do not make any machine shake. Compact packaging. This is an excellent box set for Star Trek Voyager.

Star Trek Voyager complete set
So far, so good. As with my TNG set, and as others have noted, the cases the Voyager discs came in are very weird, stacking discs on top of each other, strange "pages" of discs, and some falling out as I opened it for the first time. However, that is my only complaint. Everything else is good quality and so far I'm happy.

Loved every minute of it
One of the best Star Trek series! It ranks with, and follows chronologically, the Original series, Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.

Voyager is great, quality is great. No Play All Feature. Mundane and annoying sub menus.
The show is great, love it, my issues Generally 4 episodes per disc, which is fine, but no play all function is annoying. Like, extremely annoying. Flow is something like this: Put in disc, load up, wait for Paramount logo, wait for stupid intro animations before being able to do anything, once the 'menu' is on screen, you've got 4 episodes to choose from, each with a nonsensical number attached to it. Select the episode, which enters a sub menu for option for the episode, until you can finally hit play, then wait for another little animation to play, and finally watch your episode. After your episode, you get dumped back on the episode sub menu, you then must navigate back to the main menu, then lather, rinse repeat. Why there is no play all function is beyond me. I'll include a work flow for watching a 4 episode disc. Put in Disc > Wait for Parmount logo > Wait for intro animation > Select 1st episode > On episode sub menu, select launch > Wait for ship flying animation to finish > Watch Episode finally > After episode ends, you're returned to the episode sub menu > navigate from 'launch' to 'return' > back on main menu, manually move to next episode > Select 2nd episode > On episode sub menu, select launch > Wait for ship flying animation to finish > Watch Episode finally > After episode ends, you're returned to the episode sub menu > navigate from 'launch' to 'return' > back on main menu, manually move to next episode > Select 3rd episode > On episode sub menu, select launch > Wait for ship flying animation to finish > Watch Episode finally > After episode ends, you're returned to the episode sub menu > navigate from 'launch' to 'return' > back on main menu, manually move to next episode > Select 4th episode > On episode sub menu, select launch > Wait for ship flying animation to finish > Watch Episode finally > After episode ends, you're returned to the episode sub menu > Remove disc. Compared to workflow for other shows: Put in Farscape disc > Wait for main menu > Hit play all > Watch all episodes > remove disc. It is like they felt you need to take time to reflect on every episode after they play, or that there must be a deliberate need to interact with the DVD directly to foster some sick form of engagement.
