One issue is the surface area of the clamp is small enough that it will put a dent in soft desk surfaces (talking about you Ikea) that are made of honeycomb under a Vanier. This can be solved by putting a large thin piece of wood between to spread out the load.Otherwise was a great way to extend a desk surface out without having to create a deeper desk surface. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Better Design Needed *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United States on 3 March 2018* The idea is good. The design that went into it can be better.This board is too small. It needs to be at least 2 feet longer. The reason being is the positioning of the clamps. They need to be set outside the body so that the arms and wrists don't bump into the metal clamps. This, especially when you swing your arm and wrist side to side when moving the mouse.They also should get rid of the stitch branding positioned along the left corner.
