Update: I’m removing 2 stars due to the plastic top being weak. I’ve had several tops crack at this point and as of now, I cannot find a place to only purchase replacement tops (2 photos added to show breakage examples). For this reason, these are not a 5 star product. If the tops were more robust and sturdy, they absolutely would be and I do still love them otherwise. To be clear, we are not rough on these jars. Medication is stored in them so they are only used periodically, so the fact that several have broken is definitely an issue. I love these jars! They are made of thick, sturdy glass and have a modern, clean aesthetic. I use them for various types of medications and vitamins, to keep them uniform and to reduce visual clutter. The shape and size is ideal and I also like that the tops are transparent, making the contents easily viewable from any angle. In my opinion, the only real negative would be that the transparent portion of the lids are made of a somewhat flimsy plastic material and one of them arrived cracked. However, I put items in that particular jar that are individually sealed so the breakage wouldn’t affect the contents within that jar, so I chose to keep the set rather than to return them and will not remove a star based on that. In my view, the price is fair ($26.99 for 6 jars) and the product is very good. Otherwise, I have no complaints and am completely happy with this purchase. In fact, I have repurchased these 3 or 4 different times and I may purchase more in the future. For anyone interested, I make & print my own labels using a NIIMBOT B1 thermal label printer and I place an additional transparent circular label with detailed information on the bottom of each jar, much like you’d find on manufacturer packaging. I find this system to work very well for myself and for my family.
