Sometimes I feel silly. Sometimes I feel like eating pizza for breakfast. Sometimes I feel brave. Sometimes I feel like trying something new... The Feelings Book vibrantly illustrates the wide range of moods we all experience. Kids and adults will appreciate Todd Parr's quirky intelligence as he pays special attention to the ever-changing, sometimes nonsensical emotions that we all feel. Targeted to young children first beginning to read, this book will inspire kids to discuss their multitude of feelings in a kid-friendly, accessible format, told through Parr's trademark bold, bright colors and silly scenes. Along with the four other bestselling Todd Parr picture books, The Feelings Book is designed to encourage early literacy, enhance emotional development, celebrate multiculturalism, and promote character growth. Review: Using this with a few children with special needs - Seems simple and few words so great for my class Review: Great book, great colourful drawings, great words - My 4 year old was going through a challenging phase with his behaviour. This book was one of the things we used to try and help deal with his behaviour. He enjoys this book. I love the colourful pictures in it and the story is well written for this age group. I've recommended this to others.

Great book for introducing feelings
We love this book. The illustrations are fun and colourful and the message is clear for little ones to understand - we all feel different and that's okay!

Bright and cheerful
Bright and colourful illustrations provide a quick identification of feelings and emotions for my child. A really positive message at the end.

A bit random, but daughter likes it
My daughter loves this book, but I find it a bit silly in places. I bought it to help her understand emotions and feelings but some of it doesn't really make sense. it appeals to my 2 year old though so it's mostly a hit

Great book for young children
My 3 year old granddaughter loves this book. Really bright colours and interesting pictures. Very helpful for exploring, discussing and helping young children to articulate their feelings.

Lovely little book
A simple but fun book to help kids begin to think about feelings. Bought this when my kids were about 2 and they still love it at 3. Goes from the obvious 'sometimes I feel sad' to the more eccentric 'sometimes I feel like kissing a sealion'! Sweet message at the end about sharing your feelings with someone you love, however you feel.

Great book
This is a great book to teach toddlers about emotions and that's it ok to express them.

Highly recommend this book to assist with emotional growth.
This is our first Todd Parr book. We love it! It's a good book to introduce children on how to be in touch with your feelings and being able to properly express it towards others. It has a simple and lovable style of drawing. It is a smaller board book so it is pretty durable and usable by toddlers. My 3 year old son has it memorized and still frequently chooses it as one of his bedtime books after 7 months!

for ages up to 3
I advised this book older than 3 years old. It is funny and attracted children's attention but it is not way to teach their feelings; it is just for fun.
