I can't say enough good things about this edition of the NKJV; I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I've bought quite a few in the dark purple, black, and this brown color for gifts and my own use. This Bible has easy to read print which is line matched to reduce ghosting, and the imitation leather covers are good quality. It easily lies open and has features found in premium Bibles. It's very readable and a pleasure to use. I also love the NKJV translation, along with the ESV, NASB-1995, and the classic KJV. It's a modern language translation that is on the literal word for word end of the translation spectrum, but in easily understood English. I also own premium Schuyler and Allan Bibles, but I'd be happy with this Nelson edition if they were the only ones I had. I bought this edition to make notes, highlight, etc. because I didn't want to mark in my heirloom quality editions. This Bible is a gem, a great value, and I highly recommend it. So far it is holding up well in use, too. Of course, it's the content, God's word, that is truly precious.

This is the perfect sized Bible for bringing to church. We have been buying extras for our family & friends that are now coming to church with us. The reasonable price makes this possible. Would highly recommend this Bible.

I originally bought one for myself but I just ordered 2 more for gifts because they’re so impressive and easy to read. This is a beautiful Bible with large, clear, readable print. The End of Verse notations make it so much easier to follow than just having a giant cluster of notes at the bottom of the page. The readability and flow of EOV make this format perfect in my opinion. Great size and the faux leather cover actually looks very nice with natural coloring and grain texture. I love it!
