Surprisingly Robust and Reliable
Great Budget Tactical Knife - Surprisingly Robust and Reliable I bought this knife on Amazon and honestly, for the price I didn’t expect much. It’s a bit on the heavy side, but once you hold it in your hand you realize why. The design is really good looking. It feels solid and robust, and you can tell it’s built to handle tough jobs. The assisted opening system works perfectly - it opens very easily with one hand. The lock is also excellent. It feels very secure and gives me confidence when using it for heavier cutting tasks. What surprised me the most is the quality for the cost. This knife feels ready for anything: field work, farm work, camping, and general hard use. It’s not a delicate pocket knife. It’s a work tool that looks great and performs even better. Overall, if you need an affordable, strong, and good-looking knife that can take abuse, this is it. Highly recommended. Rating: 5/5

Great Buy
For $10.00 I find this knife a great buy. The knife is solid at good weight. The blade is thick and solid. It comes with a rope attached. There is a belt clip that needs to be attached. The tool to do so comes with the knife. The spring action allows the blade to open and close smoothly. I have had Buck knifes that did not work as well as this knife. My only complaint is the knife arrived somewhat dull. After I sharpen it I will have a very nice pocket knife.

Quite the nice budget assisted opening knife - tanto blade.
Overall I like the knife - thought it is a bit on the large side and I think may have scared one or two of my customers when I flicked it out. The operation is quite smooth, the lock up is superb. Edge retention has been quite good and I don't hold back when I use a knife - I will use it till it is used up, to me it is a tool. The handle material could be a bit more durable, you can see the nicks and scratches in it from only a week of riding in my pocket (and falling out of my pocket down to the seat track of my truck). They do provide a lanyard, which I removed, personal preference, and a belt clip, also removed due to personal preference. Originally I left the screws in for the clip, but they were digging in to my thigh while riding in my pocket so I removed them. It is worth noting they only provide for mounting the clip on one side, so if it is not the one that works for you.... then you are SOL. The blade came with a nice edge, and is easy to touch up on a stop or stone if you have been particularly rough on it. The spring assist mechanism works well and as you can see in the video, it can be opened and closed one handed quite readily. I know the closing looks a bit slow, but I was looking through the camera and trying not to cut my finger off, so I took my time. By the way - locking is accomplished via a liner lock system and an ample perch for your thumb is provided so you don't have to try and jam your thumb in between the liners. For the price, this is a very good knife, and I would certainly purchase another - though I would consider putting a different handle material on it. I work with horn and bone, so I might re-grip with one of those materials.

Works great
Nice knife. Very heavy. Not good for EDC as it would bull on your pocket and you would feel it's weight. Nice and sharp. Good for camping and general use in the shop.

Good knife at a really good price.
I bought this knife as a backup. It stays in my fanny pack so I will always have a knife when hiking. I will say this knife is sharp. The flip action is also quick The knife clips easily to a belt or a strap on a fanny pack or back pack front strap. Don’t let the price affect your opinion of the knife.

Poor country boy that likes a nice knife
This knife is great, it's heavy, the spring assist is smooth and functions well. I was leary about ordering a knife that was so inexpensive, but the quality is expensive. This is an honest review from a guy that doesn't believe most reviews because I think they are paid for and I want people to try this knife.

Not spring assist open but still not bad
Not Spring Open but a Good Pocketknife. This knife feels good in my hand and cuts well enough but wasn’t what I wanted. As a ‘Spring Assist Open’ knife, it just isn’t. The back of knife blade ‘open’ tab only serves to bring the blade out of its sheath. There isn’t any appreciable or effective spring assist to lock it into its open position. Quite disappointing. The knife itself feels great in my hand and the blade is quite sharp. How it stands up over time isn’t something I’ll know anytime soon though. If you’re looking for a spring assist open pocketknife, this really isn’t it. If you’re looking for a solid pocketknife at a good price, it’s not a bad option.

Surprisingly Solid Knife for the Price
I’ve only had this Spring assisted heavy-duty pocket knife for one day, but first impressions are very strong. It feels well made, solid in the hand, sharp out of the box, and the assisted opening is smooth. For around ten bucks, this feels like a much better value than I expected. **What I Liked** Honestly, I liked pretty much everything about it. The knife feels sturdy and not cheap, which is always a pleasant surprise at this price point. The 3.5-inch tanto blade came sharp, and the assisted opening works smoothly without feeling loose or clunky. It has a solid, dependable feel that makes it seem like it should cost more than it does. **What Could Be Improved** So far, I do not have any real complaints. The only issue is that after trying it, I kind of wish I had bought more than one. Since I’ve only used it for a day, I can’t speak to long-term durability yet, but the first impression is definitely better than expected. **Final Verdict** I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable folding pocket knife that feels solid, opens smoothly, and offers excellent value. It is best for someone who wants a practical everyday knife without spending premium-brand money. For the price, this little blade punches way above its weight class.

a good value for the price
The knife looks great and performs well when cutting vegetables, offering sharpness and precision. However, I haven’t tried it on cutting pork bone yet. One downside I noticed is that the blade wasn’t ground symmetrically – one side is noticeably thicker than the other, and the angles are uneven. This could affect its overall cutting performance, especially for tougher tasks. Despite this, the knife’s sharpness and design are still impressive for general kitchen use.

Really bought it for the scabbard.
It's a serviceable Cleaver that is very well behaved inside of its scabbard. Not expensive or fancy. It's just useful.

Ok
Was expecting standard size knife. This was too big and not what I was expecting. Fooled by pic of the size.
