Product Description If water is leaking through existing masonry or you need to protect new construction, our proprietary formula is GUARANTEED to stop water. Unlike ordinary paint that simply adheres to a surface and can be forced off by incoming water pressure, DRYLOK Latex Base Masonry Waterproofer actually penetrates the pores in that surface, bonding to the masonry and creating an impenetrable barrier. From the Manufacturer DRYLOK Latex Base Masonry Waterproofed is a low-odor waterproofing paint formulated to protect any interior, exterior, above- or below-grade masonry surface. Review: Great Sealer - This is the best water sealer that I have found. I use this sealer to seal my outside water fountain. It's better than caulking or silicone to seal masonary material from leaking water. Because it's exposed to the AZ sunlight I have to re-seal every few years. Apply just like latex paint and cleans easily also.
Review: Works as advertised - I painted some basement walls with this stuff more than 20 years ago. They had had continual problems with mold and mildew. Washed them down with TSP and bleach and installed drylock and an overcoat of colored paint. On the whole wall there is only one 3 inch spot where efflorescence has occured and requires special treatment. Likewise painted a pump room off the basement that had been always wet and damp. Now it is dry and cool and no mold or mildew has formed on the pump surge tank since. When the directions are followed it works as advertised.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the difference between this Drylock and Drylock Extreme.**
A: I contacted the company and was told Extreme is mildew and antifungal resistant.  Because of those chemical components They recommended I use their latex waterproofer instead of the extreme to seal our concrete water fountain that our dog drinks from. Over time with constant water exposure we don’t want any chemical breakdown to harm our dog or the birds who visit.

**Q: Will it work on sandstone that has cracks and little to no fill?**
A: Doubtful

**Q: When it rains alot my garage sometimes leaks from where the bottom cement base meets the stucco wall, so wondering if this would work over the stucco?**
A: Stucco is not really a part of the structure of the building but more of a decorative finish. I doubt this would work for that because the water will still be coming behind the stucco.

This is the best water sealer that I have found. I use this sealer to seal my outside water fountain. It's better than caulking or silicone to seal masonary material from leaking water.
