Make learning new words more fun for middle-schoolers with The Vocabulary Workbook for 7th Grade . Review: A Great Resource - An excellent resource for home-schoolers or any parent/guardian who wants to give their child some additional practice with vocabulary, sentence structure and/or other grammatical skills. This book really makes kids think before they answer, which is the element I like the best. There are lots of contextual activities that "force" kids to learn vocabulary in a real-world context, rather than rote-memorization. It is listed as 7th grade, which I think is accurate. I found it perfect for my 6th grader to build upon what is learned in school and provide new challenges. Review: Perfect worksheets for working from home. - Our [now] 13 year old got so far behind after 2 years of distance learning. Summer school was not an option, but we had to try SOMETHING! This was exactly what we needed. He can do 1 lesson a day, or 5 if weโre on a roll. Itโs easily understood by him, & by me, too! Thatโs not always true, either. So itโs been an easy way to get in a bit of what he missed. Hopefully next year wonโt be such a shock to everyone as we start the school year. BTW- kid is going into 8th grade. I decided to get the 7th grade workbook. Less stressful content, but I felt like he had too much he missed already. It wasnโt even a review of last years content. It was mostly new to him. I think it helped him a lot. I got a good review of MY 7th grade grammar & vocab, though! Iโll just say that was somewhere in the 70s, so I needed it as bad as he did.

Good book
This is a great vocabulary book. I bought it to add a vocabulary lesson to our homeschool curriculum. Lots of different ways in each lesson to practice the new words. We really like the 5 questions to ask a friend or family member feature, thatโs fun and a good way to get my son some communication practiceโฆ just wish that feature was on every lesson. Overall a good addition to our schedule this year.

Great purchase
Nice book. Advanced enough for my daughter. Sheโs 12. I just needed a book for after school work and this is good enough

Great vocabulary workbook, especially for homeschool.
As a homeschool mom and teacher, I actually enjoyed this book. It was simply and effective, not overly exaggerated or difficult to understand. I just bought it to help my young teen brush up on vocabulary and meanings. We do vocabulary words weekly and this book is a great study guide to pull from. I highly recommend. If they use it daily it may last you a month or so.

Nice Vocabulary Builder
I am a tiger parent. I confess. We supplement all of our childrenโs school work with additional material. This is a good book. I buy dozens of different books through out the year, some good some bad. This is actually a pretty good one.

Great tool for parents
I got this for my 6th grader going into 7th grade next year. I love the third multiple lessons for the same words. I plan to use them as spelling words. Also, incorporate into writing prompts. I noticed my son is a bit behind in ELA. He's going to be in advanced math next year. Hopefully this will give him a boost to feel more confident in ELA.
