Works as advertised
I have relegated my old Macbook Air to the role of Plex server meaning that I want to stick it on a shelf and only access it very remote desktop. However, MacOS will always put the laptop to sleep if the lid is closed if an external monitor is not attached. This solves that problem. I can plug in this unit, close the lid, and stick the Air on a shelf. Works great!
