I went through all the reviews for 2-4-6-8 light reading lights,and almost went for some of the highly-rated versions, but decided against their bulky clips (which is sometimes hard to see, because of the way the photos are angled). Decided to spend a little more for this little light (and I mean little -- it is so thin, I use it as my bookmark). It is so light that it does not noticeably add to the weight of a book. Haven't tried it on a magazine, but it would probably be too heavy if clipped to just a few pages. It is so light because it uses a USB-rechargeable Lithium Ion battery -- the connector is a mini-USB, which is the same as the original Kindle, Jitterbug phones, etc. and is readily available. It has two lights, which means that at the lowest setting, it does not bother light-sensitive partners,but it may not light up both pages of a book. It has a continuously variable dimmer (just hold down the ON button and watch it get brighter - dimmer - brighter, etc.), so you can increase the brightness to the point where it illuminates both pages simultaneously, or if you want to use it as a flashlight. At the lowest setting (which I use), I have to adjust the neck when reading larger hardcovers, same as my previous two-setting two-light reading lamps (that had 2 heavy AAA batteries). The neck on this light bends like it WANTS to bend -- have had others that came unclipped because the neck was so stiff or had limited motion (or that slowly went back to their original position while you quickly tried to finish that page!) -- you can actually corkscrew this light's neck and then bend it back to perfectly flat with no problem, or residual wrinkles. One idea for the manufacturer -- simply add one LED chip to the side of the light head (or make that portion clear). I always clip a light to the front cover of a book & a light that could shine to the right of the booklight would illuminate that right-hand page, without any re-positioning.

I remember the old/original Mighty Bright book light, you know the one, the one that you stuffer batteries in. Well this one is a vast improvement (not that the old ones were bad its just they were of a different era), I really like that flexible neck and the quality of light, its really easy to bend the neck and direct the light to really minimize light spilling away from the page. Its light enough and compact enough that it travels very easily; it holds a charge well and I appreciate that it uses a USB-C charger. If you're like me and enjoy a physical book then this is well worth the money even if you only use it occasionally. It works!

It does it’s job very, very well. The battery life has been amazing so far, and it doesn’t take long at all to charge. The light isn’t too bright, but it is bright enough to read with. In other words you don’t have to be worried about being blinded unless you look directly into the light, but that is coming from someone who blessed with terrible eyesight. The light is also super slim and flexible. I love how it isn’t bulky and how I can maneuver the neck of the book light so I can get just the right angle. It’s my favorite book light that I have owned. Alright, now for some of the not-so-positives. The cord is pretty small probably around 1 ft if I had to guess. I would say you would either need to find somewhere on your counter to charge (what I did) or invest in a longer Micro USB. The charging light is very small and I almost didn’t notice it. Whenever I first put it on the charger, I kept looking for it to make sure it was plugged in and charging. Another thing that I don’t like is that once you turn it off it automatically goes back to the bright setting even if you had it on the low setting before. By the way, because I didn’t see any instruction on how to do it (or my eyesight is just truly that terrible), to get to dim just hold down the power button. All of these are petty things, so they don’t really matter to me, but I know that just because something doesn’t necessarily matter to me is not the same case for everyone. All in all, despite the nitpicking, I would absolutely buy again and recommend to anyone.

There are a lot of cheaper reading lights out there, but I didn't want one that was annoyingly bulky when traveling. I also didn't want to find myself annoyed at poor quality or lack of features during a long flight. Therefore, I opted for this name-brand light, and I am so glad I did. Pros: - Super lightweight and slim. Super easy to travel with. - Adjustable neck is great. It stays exactly how you put it, it surprises me every time how easy it is to position. - Battery life is excellent so far, though admittedly I haven't had it that long. - LEDs are a nice color, not too harshly white, not too yellow. - Range of brightness is excellent, it gets as dim or bright as I need it to be. Easy to control brightness. - Clip has a nice felt liner to protect pages. - Aesthetically pleasing overall (see cons), I really like the lavender color. Unique but clean looking. Cons (I struggle to find any, so I'm nit-picking): - Most of my devices are USB-C these days, so I'm slightly annoyed that I need to carry a micro USB when traveling. - Aesthetics.... Again this is really minor, and it's honestly pretty funny, but in the lavender color, it looks slightly like an "adult stimulation device." Not actually a problem, and I still love the color, but it made me chuckle when I opened it.

Super lightweight, easily positioned w the flexible neck, sturdy clip, light is actually so bright, it lights up my entire room as brightly as the 40 watt bulb in my bedside lamp. Reflecting off book pages in a dark room, it’s blinding! Would love if it had a dimmer. As it is, I’m constantly fiddling with trying to keep the light basically pressed right against the opposite page, or else shading it by pinching it slightly against my thumb. This could’ve been probably 1/10 as bright, or less, and it would light my book just perfect. And, for reference, I am 57 and usually need extra light to see clearly up close. This light actually might be useful for close tasks like hand sewing, in daylight, even. It’s that bright. Edit to add: I feel silly but honesty compels me to say that a few weeks after purchasing this light, I discovered its brightness is, indeed fully adjustable. You just press and hold the power switch and the light will dim to its lowest setting. If you continue to press the button, it will then begin to brighten. Simple but effective.

I got this to clip onto my personal notebooks at night when I’m with my wife or my infant daughter is asleep and I can’t turn on any lights. This is the book light I’ve always dreamed of. Since I was a kid the book lights available were always bulky, ugly, took AA batteries, and never flexed into the position I really needed so I gave up on them as a kid. Now im back and I love this book light. It’s light, super flexible, compact, and generally just gets out of your way. It’ll clip on to most books without creating a huge bump in the back. It doesn’t add noticeable weight to whatever you clip it to. The light bends where you need it and the brightness is highly adjustable- not just 3 simple settings but a whole range from bright to dim. This also feels great. The silicone feels nice and makes it feel like it’s not cheap unlike every other book light I’ve encountered which all feel cheap from top to bottom. It’s light enough that you won’t mind and might even enjoy traveling with it. The fact that it’s rechargeable means a lot and the battery lasts forever. Get this.

I never write reviews but I absolutely love this thing. I've used many reading lights like this but have never liked them enough to continue to use them. I rearranged my room recently and now don't get enough light to my reading chair when its dark. This forced me to give reading lights another go. I did some research, narrowed down my choices and bought 2 lights to see which one I liked best. The other one I bought was a LuminoLite (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079LYZCJ9/ref=cfb_at_prodpg) This mighty bright was easily the superior product and the best reading light i've ever seen. I was very surprised at how well made it was, I never thought anybody would take their time to make such a high quality reading light. Its very small and doesn't get in the way of me reading. Its super bendable so i could angle it anyway i needed to. It dims to a very low light which was a must for me. I love to read at night with all the lights off and have this on the dimmest setting. It's easy to dim, feels very high quality, looks easy to charge, can also be very bright if you need it to. I cant believe a reading light made me so excited. I haven't tried charging it yet as I haven't run out of the battery so I can't speak for that. Only issue is its $20ish which is kinda expensive for a reading light. But you either buy a crappy one for $10 or an amazing one for $20. Thats a no brainer for me.

Sí, los hay más baratos, pero este es ligero, robusto, bonito, recargable por USB (adiós a las pilas), cómodo de transportar y de poner, alumbra bien y parece duradero. Estaba cansado de lamparas de este tipo que no duraban nada y eran feas y estaba a cuestas con las pilas. Lo recomiendo sin duda, aunque sea caro.

Avevo smesso di leggere in camera per evitare di dare fastidio alla bimba con la luce. Da quando ho questa luce per la lettura posso conciliare il mio bisogno di leggere con le "ninne" della piccola. Ottima la fattura e la durata della batteria

Cela faisait un moment que je cherchais une lampe pour mes lectures nocturnes. J'avais eu des lampes avec piles au mercure. Une galère car elles consomment beaucoup et les piles s'usent vite. J'avais également bricoler une lampe livrée avec un lecteur numérique mais ce n'était pas pratique. Cette lampe de lecture est de très bonne qualité. L'intensité est variable en restant appuyé sur le bouton on/off ce qui permet également d'économiser la batterie. cette batterie dure très longtemps quand même depuis mon achat je ne l'ai chargé que 2 fois et pourtant je lis tous les soirs en moyenne 20minutes. Elle est extra flexible et s'adapte à tous les livres même les poches, je l'ai même utilisé sur un tambour à broder. Je pense d'ailleurs en commander une deuxième car cela a été difficile de trouver la bonne.

Fantastische Lampe! Sehr flexibel, solide verbaut und insgesamt sehr hochwertig. LED Ladeanzeige und Akkumeldung wenn geladen werden muss. Lange Laufzeit... keine Ahnung wie viel Stunden, lese meistens abends und da ist eine Woche locker drin. Die Dimmfunktion durch drücken der Einschalttaste ist hervorragend und leuchtet nach Bedarf jedes Buch aus ohne den 'Nachbarn' zu stören. Die Befestigung ist wie der Rest von dem genialen Teil durchdacht. Hier lohnt sich ruhig mal eine Mark mehr in die Hand zu nehmen um Nerven und Augen zu schonen.

Después de buscar entre muchas muchas opciones de lámparas de lectura, llegué a la marca Mighty Bright. Sí, es mucho más costosa que el promedio, pero en verdad, vale mil la pena la inversión. El color de la lámpara es exacto al de las fotos (muy lindo), y la textura es súper agradable al tacto (tipo silicona). La potencia de la luz resulta ideal, ni muy brillante ni muy baja; además, se puede regular a la intensidad deseada. Debido a la tonalidad cálida de la luz, la lectura en la oscuridad termina siendo una experiencia muy agradable. La verdad es que para mí resultaba imprescindible que el broche no maltratara el libro, ya la probé y para nada se dañó mi libro! Además la lámpara se mantiene siempre en su lugar y eso que no pesa nada. Otro punto súper importante es que puedes poner la lámpara en la posición más extraña y no se va a mover en lo absoluto, en serio ES flexible (para todos lados). Lo único que me falta es checar la duración, pero aun no la uso tanto. Conclusión: la amé. Definitivo es un must para los amantes noctámbulos de la lectura! 🤓📖🌙
