Microplane Gourmet Series Hard Cheese Grater (Fine, Black)

You won't be disappointed. The workmanship and materials are first rate. Easy to use, easy to clean. The grated cheese is finely grated. I've used it primarily for parmesan and aged cheddar. I've also zested citrus and it works well there too.

Best used with HARD cheese. Freshly grated Parmesan is far superior to anything bought at a typical grocery store. Won’t work with softer cheeses. Grated some whole nutmeg also. Worked fabulously

love this product! It is big enough to use for larger things like cheese and such and still a breeze for smaller things. Very sharp, sturdy and comfortable to use.

The grater is fine and works well, but they put the barcode sticker on the back side of the grater and the glue from the sticker cannot be easily removed. Even after I put it through a dishwasher, the glue was still there and I had to manually remove it and wash it again.

Great for fine grating cheese, herbs and vegetables

I had an older version of this had a clear plastic outer frame for the blade. That finally cracked and fell apart. This newer model has a stainless steel frame which is much stronger. The new one also comes with a plastic guard for storage that protects the blade from damage while in the drawer.
