Important cooling method.
I needed a product that would allow me to water a patch of tif to cool it off during our very hot summers here in AZ. This works perfectly for my needs. Puppy paws can now stay cool.

Some times Doesn't work at all
It disconnect from the wifi a lot. I have to disconnect it from the power to reconnect. Some times it stay running for hours if don't get awear it will flood your yard and waste lots of water. The app is very hard to use. Definitely not user friendly. I tried replacing other brands that I have tried with this brand but this one is the worst one. Don't waste your money.

Nice when it works- Not very durable
Being able to turn the sprinklers on when I'm inside or even away from home is nice, but that's about the only good thing I can say about this. The setup was buggy, with both units I bought experiencing some sort of bug (different for each) that hung up the process and required restarting from scratch. Since then, I haven't experienced any issues with the app though. The smart-watering algorithm is still a mystery to me and certainly doesn't seem that smart. I frequently have to initiate watering manually because I notice that my grass is getting crispy. Other times it seems to water a day or two after heavy rain. I haven't figured out what combinations of settings will get me a reasonable automatic schedule. The valve unit also isn't very durable. My first one died after about a year- seemingly from water ingress. The app would continuously indicate that it was at 2% battery and unable to open the valve, even with new batteries and a hard reset. And that brings me to my final complaint- You can't buy just the single valve. You have to buy it with the hub, and for some reason it's not even the newer gen 2 hub, but the old one that isn't compatible with some of the other multi-tap valves. Overall, pretty disappointing from such a trusted company.

Most frustrating pairing
Purchased two of these so I could have two devices with two hubs on different sides of the house. The hub they sent is a Gen 2. GEN 2 WILL NOT CONNECT TO THESE VALVES!!! Customer Service is non existent. Ended up ordering a different pairing with this valve and a drip adapter with hose which was paired with the Gen 1 Hub. Worked right out of the box. Have NO idea why they would pair a Gen 2 with theses Valves….

The product received was discolored from being in the sun too long. It may not affect its functionality at least in the short term, but did not expect to be sold an old product.
