Does this meter give an avrage reading over a month, thanks

Not an average calculated but it keeps a record of a considerable number of tests; just by pressing the button it will work chronologically backwards and you can work out your own average reading.

The lancing device hasn't got a red light on it and the cap hasn't got numbers on to adjust the depth of lancet, i hope i can return item

Push the lancet all the way as far as it will go should then give you a reading

To change the measurement from mmol/l to mg/dl multiply the reading in mmol/l by 18. the figure you get will be in mg/dl. Also if your meter is reading in mg/dl you can convert the reading to mmol/l by dividing by mg/dl readings by 18 to get the reading in mmol/l

Accurate and easy to use

Delivered quickly, easy to understand instructions and very easy to use. I also use a sensor-based glucose monitoring system and wanted to check the accuracy of the readings, so I bought the Exactive EQ monitor which showed pretty much the same readings as the sensor-based one, so I can conclude that this device is accurate.
