Awesome
Amazing product great accessory for any Dremel! It won’t break the bank either, I 100% would recommend getting one

Works with other rotary tools other than Dremel
This worked really well for me even though my rotary tool is not a Dremel. It fit great. Felt solid. And I was able to easily and accurately route out a cavity in a guitar body.

A nice little router attachment BUT...
I bought this for small work. My full sized, 18 pound router was simply too big and heavy for jobs such as inletting the hinges on a small box. The first job I did with this thing was just that... Inletting the hinges on a small box. I'm generally leary of attachments that claim to turn a small power tool into something else, but this worked well. The tool is very light, and the handles are big enough to give good control. My hinges seated the way I wanted them too, and my box closes square. MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS SETTING THE DEPTH OF CUT. I can't really figure out why this thing has to have the "plunge" feature, being so light that you can almost pick it up with your eyelid. The plunge springs take a fair amount of force to press down, and worse, I had to FIGHT them to set my depth of cut. I wound up pressing the base on the edge of my bench with my stomach as I diddled with the depth setting screw and the handle to lock it in place. I finally wrestled it to the point I wanted, and my cuts went in easily and accurately with smooth bottoms. After I was done, I started trying to overcome this adjusting problem. After looking the thing over, I TOOK OUT THE D*M'N PLUNGE SPRINGS. This was easy. Less than a minute's work by simply removing the screw and washer on the top of each post. I was intending to put a 1/2 inch drill bit stop on the non-locking post to stabilize things, but as it turned out, I didn't have to. The depth set very easily this way, and I didn't have to use enough pressure to press things out of line. The lock handle set one side, the adjusting screw held the other. I very easily set the thing for an 1/8 inch cut, and it worked beautifully on pieces of scrap wood. I saved the springs in the box just in case I ever decide to drive myself crazy with them, and as the tool wears a bit, I may need that 1/2 inch drill bit stop on the unlocking post. At this point though, removing the plunge springs turned a weak 4 star tool into a 5 star tool that will get regular use. VERY HAPPY NOW.

Dremel to Router.?
Turn your Dremel tool into a router..... Well, not really. But, with a little caution, you can do alot of the same things that you can do, with a router. Just in a smaller version. Given the fact that the Dremel is way smaller than a trim router, you can still achieve good results, with this attachment. Just take your time, go slow, and you'll be surprised what you can accomplish with this...!!!

Works great with Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool
Lots of complaints about "stiff springs" or "hard to plunge" but the only time i had that issue is if i didn't loosen the plunge lock knob enough. It is a relatively fine adjustment and takes SEVERAL turns before the plunge function is smooth and easy. This is a feature not a bug. The depth stop sucks big time, never stays where you put it since they are plastic threads that just vibrate loose. But I don't really think it's that necessary on a cheap flimsy tool. This thing is exactly what you should get for the price, you want a little better accuracy and quality then buy a WEN router for $20-$40 more. Perfect, exactly the right price, exactly what I needed for some routing in some custom 2x4 lumber shelves I'm making. Make sure everything is tight and you fully seat the tool straight and it works well. You get what you pay for, this tool is exactly what you need if you are shopping in this price point.

Good, not professional, high volume, super low tolerance, but good
For what it does, I've made some nice pieces with it. You can't get the bigger bits, but you can get close with a few passes. It's plastic, and it looks like it's cheap at first and that it'll break, but I'm an engineer with a glass is twice as big as it needs to be outlook, and I think this is very efficiently designed, although I'm not sure how long it would last if I used it every day (or month for that matter). Could be a little more stout, but I haven't had any issues at all with it. Just make sure it's centered and secured, and it will cut well. If you're a master wood worker, then for goodness sake just buy a $100 quality router. But if you have a dremmel already and just need to route some things once and a while, it'll do well. Just remember you'll have to make a few passes if you want deeper cuts (e.g. more than about a 1/4 inch).

OK router base, lacks fine height adjustment.
I bought this accessory to use when I'm doing inlay work and want fine control over the depth of cut. This offering from Dremel was underwhelming, as there is no facility to finely adjust depth of cut, plus the two support columns have enough play to eliminate the usefulness of the provided template guides. I found there to be almost 1/8" of side play as one or the other column rose or fell. Unacceptable. On the plus side, the price is attractive. Edit: Upon reading other reviews, I found one that mentioned the screw holding the support posts in place were not tight. Checking this, I found the screws on my base to also be a little loose. I tightened them (with a little Loc Tite to boot) and the play I mentioned above was nearly eliminated. I added a star to my review as a result and updated the title.
