Great guitar!!!
For the price , you cannot beat this twelve string guitar. It looks beautiful and sounds beautiful too. I only found one minor flaw in the finish but nobody else notices it unless I point it out. When I ordered this guitar , I also ordered a second set of strings from another vendor but these that came with it sound crisp and clean and i'm not going to replace them till I need to. Most male order guitars come with crap strings, but these are actually quite good. Now I just have to practice getting my fingers to do their job since I haven't played a twelve string in almost thirty years. Pull the trigger and buy it......You won't be disappointed.

Looks beautiful, sounds beautiful
Looks beautiful, sounds beautiful. I got this guitar for my birthday. I have been eyeing it for about a year now. It stays in tune very well. The neck was perfect. I did have to file some of the frets, but at this price, I was expecting that. The action was perfect right out of the box. The electronics are great, but I don't use them much. The guitar is loud enough already. I love the finish, it really is beautiful. And the onboard tuner is wonderful. I would recommend this guitar for anybody who wants a quality 12 string guitar. And the price is amazing. I have no idea how Vangoa can make such great quality instruments at the price range. Keep up the great work, you have a great thing going here.

Great guitar for under $200
This a beautiful guitar and very playable. I do have to deal with a little buzzing of one string. The price was so reasonable that I don’t mind repairing the fret levels 👍 The gig bag is also higher quality than expected. The bag of supplies and tools was also more than expected 😊

almost perfect out of the box
So i crossed my fingers and gambled on this guitar. i already own many guitars and 3 ukeleles and i wanted a 12 string guitar. i fell in love with a breedlove in guitar center but that was $900. I had a choice between this one and the danelectro which was $250. i'm glad i chose this one. first its a beautiful guitar. for $150 it doesn't surprise me anymore cause i own 5 firefly guitars and anyone knows how cheap they are but the quality was just as good as a $500 guitar. Anyway, i'll be honest this thing was a pain in the ass to tune. This will test your patience. You will finally get it tuned and after a few strums its out of tune again. i stretched every string tightened and loosened and tightened again then retuned and play few mins and out of tune again. So what i did was strum the crap out of it for 1 day and now its holding tune longer where i can actually play for 30 mins and maybe 1-2 strings will go out of tune. Now it sounds awesome when i play hotel california. it comes with a tuner which is nuts cause its built in tuner was much better. it comes with extra strings, a gig bag, capo, strap, a wiping cloth, extra picks, a guitar cable, a pick guard unattached ( if u choose to put it on its a peel and stick), a truss rod allen wrench and an accessory bag to keep them all in. the action was surprisingly low without any fret buzzing. No adjustments for me. yay! the neck feels great going up and down except for one area by the 12th fret where a little snag u can feel. might sand or file it a bit and it'll be perfect. well for $150 this was a great buy for me. whoever made this particular one that i have did a great job on assembling this guitar. So anyone interested in a 12 string and don't want to spend a lot of money grab this one asap before the sale ends.

Beautiful guitar!
Got this to replace a previous one that had issues out of the box so I was sceptical On the function of this one. Happy to say this one is awesome! The finish is incredible and the quality feels like that of a guitar costing, at least, twice as much. The sound is amazing. I've been playing my takamine 12 string for 40 years and this guitar has every bit the clarity and tone of that guitar. It will most likely sound even better with better strings. I don't know how this guitar will stand the test of time but, for now, I can't say enough good things about this guitar. Very, very happy with it! Update: Been playing the guitar for about two weeks now and every time I pick it up, it needs to be retuned. The strings should be done stretching by now so I'm guessing it just has low quality tuners on it. I love everything else so I'm not going to change my rating but just wanted to give an update.

Great guitar and great customer service
This is a seriously great guitar for the money, and the customer service is amazing as well! It has a nice fit and finish, and it's a great playing and sounding guitar. I was looking to get a 12-string into my guitar collection again, as I was missing having one, and wanted to use one for an upcoming project. I came across several YouTube reviews for this, so I thought I'd order it and give it a shot. The initial guitar was quite nice, but had a couple defects; I contacted Vangoa customer service, and sent info and pics of the issues, and they quickly sent me a replacement guitar. Shout out to Cleo for all the help! I was pleasantly surprised with quality of this guitar, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I feel it's important to note that if you have any issues at all, contact Vangoa customer service; they are happy and willing to help. It's honestly been years since I dealt with a company that would actually stand behind their product like that.

No longevity 1 yr about
In a Worship leader and went off YouTube reviews. This guitar has performed well for a year. A couple weeks ago I found it hard to play. The bridge is bending up and the top is buckling. I’m saving up and getting a lifetime warranty instrument. Sound is fantastic and electronics but everything else is no good. Tuners are also subpar.

Why I Am Returning the Vangoa 12 String
I am disappointed by the quality of the Vangoa 12 string acoustic/electric guitar I received. I had made my decision to purchase the Vangoa 12 string based on three things: 1. The Amazon description of the item, 2. The overwhelming positive comments I read in the Amazon reviews, and 3. The reviews other guitarists posted on YouTube about their Vangoa 12 string guitars. Much of the Amazon description of the guitar was accurate as were many of the purchaser reviews. The guitar is very nice looking; the sapele finish on mine was basically flawless, and the binding appears perfect. The frets were dressed well - no sharp edges - and there was no "pull away" of the bridge from the body. The gig bag is adequate, and the accessory bag and contents a very nice addition for the price. I can't speak to the electrics; I did not even get to a point where I would try them. The problem I have with the guitar I received is that the 18:1 ratio tuning machine heads are, in a word, terrible. Half of them are so sloppy and loose and have so much play in them that I cannot feel if they are tightening/loosening the string. Another one does not turn smoothly but "catches" in the same spot while turning it. (I should add that there is also some amount of buzzing when lower frets are played. But this is something that probably could have been dealt with by making a truss rod adjustment). I read many, many of the reviews from one star to five, and while some people talked about similar problems, it was a minority and my hope was that Vangoa would have corrected this type of problem just as they seem to have with the finish, fret ends and bridge lifting. I suppose it is possible that I got one that slipped through quality control. But, I have to think that since they string it at the factory, they have to be aware of this problem. I should also say that in the many YouTube videos I watched with players reviewing their Vangoa 12 string guitars, I largely discounted their commentary regarding construction. This is because most of them receive the guitars from Vangoa at no charge, just for reviewing them online. While most of the reviewers tell viewers this fact and I believe their reviews are likely accurate, it is safe to say that Vangoa is going to make sure that they send them the best instrument they can produce in order to get a favorable review. I did find the videos useful to get some idea of the guitar's sound quality. While I had high hopes for this instrument, I cannot recommend it. Especially as a beginner's instrument I cannot recommend it, because I think a beginner would become frustrated with it and/or learning to play guitar because of it. Before writing this review I tried, as Amazon suggested, to contact the manufacturer via the link provided. It did not work, going to a "This page cannot be found" message. I will be returning this guitar. UPATE: A few days after submitting this review, I was contacted by the manufacturer through Amazon. The manufacturer left a message saying that they were sorry there was a problem with the instrument and they wanted to assist me in getting a full refund in the easiest manner possible. The manufacturer was also concerned that the link which I used to contact them was not working, and they asked what steps I used to get to the link. They assured me that they would look into this as they had no reports and were unaware that there was any problem with any link. They later told me that it seems to be an issue with a link provided by Amazon, beyond their control as a third-party seller, but they have already escalated the matter to the seller support center. They asked that I tell others that they can be directly contacted through their website at Vangoa.com and clicking the "contact us" button at the bottom of the page. In short, the manufacturer was as helpful as possible and seemed genuinely concerned about my decision to return the guitar. I appreciated their helpfulness and replied to them with the information they wanted regarding the link. A few days later they left another message for me asking to see if the refund had been properly processed and to tell me that they had found the issue with the old link I had tried to use and they had taken care of the problem. In short, while my initial review stands, (and as I said, it is possible that I may have just received a poor instrument compared to what they usually produce) I was impressed with their desire to want to help me get the satisfaction I was looking for and their swiftness to communicate. In their first contact, they ended their message by saying, "Give us another chance." I may just do that, maybe not on another 12 string, but perhaps on one of the other instruments they make.

Belle guitare, sonne bien
Pas vraiment "plug and play". La tension sur le manche est énorme, besoin d'ajustement régulier. Vient avec un bon étui, un tuner, picks, jack 1/4, un set de cordes, un capo et une clé pour le manche. Quand-même pas pire pour le prix

This is a great guitar at this price point
This is my second guitar and there’s a few glitches like the built in tuner does not work and both were delivered in open boxes one also had the bridge inside wood plate was half missing but I will keep ordering one until I get the one that satisfies me because I like the way it plays and for the price with everything you get I think it’s a great deal.

Resellers go home
IT IS DISGUSTING WHEN THESE RESELLERS TAKE A GUITAR THAT WAS $249 OR LESS 3 MONTHS AGO AND MORE THAN DOUBLE THE PRICE I had the spruce and the sapelle. I sent the brown one back, it had more mid-range and the spruce has more top end. It could have gone either way, I will put bronze strings on the spruce eventually to tone it down. I thought this spruce might cut better but this sappel/brown is great too. Can't believe the value. I picked up the spruce after not playing it for a month and it was perfectly, perfectly in tune. Vangoa vge12. I had intended to send this guitar back if it was mediocre. At first The bottom E was sharp from the third fret and especially the 12th fret harmonic. I tightened the truss rod a quarter turn and all of a sudden there it was, perfect.. I measured The top deflection behind the bridge and it did not change over the course of a week. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS , GET A FRIEND TO DO IT .The incredible packet of goodies that comes with the guitar included a set of Vangoa strings which are 10 to 46 so I assume that's what's on the guitar. The gig bag is high quality and the capo is as good as any of those $30 capos that I used to buy. The Mid-Range and highs are a bit prominent, I may try a set of phosphor bronze strings to tone it down a bit. The excellent electronics lack a notch filter but have a phase switch In addition to presence. The tuner will run without a cord being plugged in which is nice. When I think of all the overpriced music store guitars I have bought over the years and then having to add expensive electronics to perform on stage it tees me off. If you're not using it for an extended period tune it down and put it away. Here in Canada they are only offering the lower end models. The thin line model is available in the states. Wow!

Highly Recommend!
I love this guitar! All the accessories are a bonus! You will not find a better 12 string for the price. I know you will look at the cost and will think it could not possibly be a quality instrument but you would be wrong! It plays beautiful, intonation is near perfect, the feel is natural and the sound is full, warm and luscious! I have two Yamaha dreadnaughts (one is a cutaway) and a classical guitar, the Vangoa is a welcome addition to the family! Right now it is tuned to DADGAD… OMG! Simply amazing!
