Edited for update: These are still the BEST BOOTS I'VE EVER BOUGHT! I've bought everything from Amazon basic, Walmart cheapos, redwings like crazy, and keens. They all lasted 8 months at best, or made my feet ache like crazy. I'm kinda mad I didn't find these sooner and even more bummed that the company provided $200 redwings can't even compare. I'm on my feet 14-hours a day and I spend my hardest hours in these boots, on ladders, on roofs, no gravel though. I even sprayed triflow on my sole yesterday, wiped off my boot, hopped on my ladder and replaced a ceiling damper. No slips- no problems. Going from keens to rock roosters made me realize I was paying to much for new subpar boots every 8 months, and wearing my redwings made me constantly wish I was wearing my rocks'. I love these boots, Rockrooster: please stay in business forever AND keep your quality the best. You already got me hooked. Pros: These boots felt broken in and comfy from day one, like feet pillows of awesomeness They look awesome, rugged and they're unique. Tough toe box that's wide and reinforced. Zipper!!!!!!! Light weight, or maybe it just feels lighter because I'm bouncing around in these? Breathable, not sure how but way easier to keep them from smelling up the locker room. Way cheaper then the worst higher end boots. Reinforcements everywhere, every stitch is rugged, ever seam is tough. Cons: They squeak on any smooth surface, people hear me coming.... More than usual. The top lip of the zipper needed a little masking tape to keep it from rawing up my leg but easy fix. Hard to keep clean when you're always busy.

So I bought these cause a job that I was assigned to required black steel toe footwear, I liked what I saw with these and I got something unexpected. Most industrial grade shoes and boots are built to break you in and I should know I’ve had a few pairs like that. These will not punish your feet or the rest of you for that matter, I’ve had them on for a 6 day shift run and nothing bad to report. My socks don’t peel off my foot, my foot is not all wet , and I don’t feel like I spent all day walking on a 2x4. I usually wait for a week or 2 to ensure things are working out and this is the end of week 2. So my current observations are, it’s got to be a bit big to accommodate the drop in and zip shut action with side zippers, the toe box is roomy by most standards steel toe especially. You’ve got enough room to avoid pinching of the toe, the heel counter feels like your foot just pops in. I drive with them, I walk in them and I wear them on errands after work. No chunking of the sole, no discoloring to report. If I run into problems down the line I report them too so keep looking for post script. If I have problems that’s where I post

Bought a pair 2 years ago and seemed to be comfortable and lasted a while before tearing at the seams and sole. The pair I just received look different than the previous ones and the photos on the add. They don’t have the red rockrooster symbol on the sides of the boot or say rockrooster on the rubber toe cap, now it just has a RR branded mark on leather boot by heel and on rubber toe cap.

Love these boots! This is my second pair of these exact boots. 3 pairs overall. First pair had an issue and I contacted warranty dept, they upgraded my boots! I proceeded to wear those boots for 2 years before the toe cap and zipper wore out. The protection they provide is 5 ⭐. Amazing quality, the size fits perfectly. They are amazing for work, and they are thick and sturdy. RockRooster is gonna be my Go-to for boots from now on!

I just happen so We had a Ice storm in NE PA So these Rock Roosters deserve a test .I bought my from amazon for around 100 dollars. In my experience I have always had problems with steel toe boots they always dug into the upper fart or my foot. When they came in the box I was very surprised how they looked and even more surprised when I found they sent an extra pair of shoe strings with it. When I put them on they were very comfortable excellent fit. So I went for my walk in the ice storm streets covered the works.. The boots did not cut into my foot, walking was very comfortable with no inside movement. I walk for about a mile through puddles and sleet. The boots gripped very well for being on ice. Then I went to work. Monday I started to get a burning pain on the bottom of my heel yes the flat part. I said ok they need to be broken in. Thursday i took them off blister on my heel so i put pediatric inserts in them. Friday bottom of feet fine both heels have blisters though. Hopefully my feet will heel over the weekend and next week everything will be great..Really want to give these 5 stars look,build.. front toe comfort ,price, excellent...next week will tell..

I ordered these February 8th for my husband for his new job as a maintenance operator at a school district it is now April 21st and he showed me that they're coming apart at the top. I would not recommend these boots if you need them for actual work boots.

I have always had problems finding good work boots. Plus I walk crooked and was having swelling on my right ankle and top part of my foot. I would have a hard time putting on and taking off my boots. After a while the lining would start pulling out with my foot. Previous boots I bought provided no support whatsoever. Until I seen these boots. A ZIPPER on the side!!!? No way! We'll the support these boots provide is amazing. I walk better and swelling is a thing of the past. Plus during the day if i need a litte breather, I just unzip. These boots do not smell! Crazy!! I'll definitely get another pair so I can just switch back and forth. Also the price is definitely doable. $120? Compared to $250 for other name brands that last me 6 months and are actually worthless. Comfortable and look awesome. The size is spot on. So far as durability they are holding up great. This is one of the comfortable boots I've ever worn and working 12 hrs is not an issue on these boots. Only that on hydraulic oil spill it's not as slip resistant and those side zippers tend to unzip itself slowly

Bought in early 2020. Still alive and kick in at end of 2022. Great piece of boots. Used it daily. Liked the insole as it relieves the rebound perfectly reduces the pain and fatigue as I'm on field for 12 hrs daily.

The insoles are cracking up after wearing for few days!
