Is there different micron grades of replaceable filters? Can small particles block water flow.

Thank you for your interest in the Whole House Pre-Filtration System. Regarding this issue, the stainless steel filter used in our system does not need to be replaced, and we are developing other micron grades of replacement filters right now and we will inform you when we have launched the new product.
Besides, we recommend that you open the flush valve for flushing every 2 weeks for about 10 minutes each time to extend the system service life and improve system filtration performance. If the water quality in your area is poor, it is recommended to rinse once a week, and each rinse time is no less than 10 minutes.

my h20 is extremely irony. i replace my 10:-5 micron paper sediment once a month. is this the right filter for my purpose

Hi, A sediment filter is not intended to remove iron, I believe a whole house filter with the correct element and a water softener is more the answer to your problem. My understanding of a sediment filter is to trap particles that get past your pump screen to keep them out of your pressure tank and the rest of your water system. Hope this helps

How does the back-washing function work?

Can i install it at a 45 angle or Horizontal?

It does not matter at what angle you install it at since one side is in with pressure and the other is out  wit negative pressure. YOU CAN PUT IT UPSIDE DOWN IF YOU WANT. Just be sure  the in direction is right.
