Just one word, Awesome bit!!
This is my favorite bit to date! Very sharp, clean cuts and for the price it's very worth it! I was using it to cut out some part on my cnc and there was a screw in the wood which is in the cutting path of the design, I didn't realize this and the bit hit the screw and broke 😭😭😭 Very good bit thou!! I love it!!

Highly reccomend
Im loving these bits. My machine somehow sent this bit into a screw that it had already drill a hole for and the bit took the head off (a drywall screw) and still cuts great. Awesome value for the money.

Cuts and engraves ABS sheet plastic really clean - short life but worth the price.
Unfortunately they have a short life. I had a bunch of 0.25" X 24" x 24" ABS plastic sheets to engrave for signs on my CNC machine, I'd tried a bunch of different bits by different makers.. all of them would technically work but would leave so much melted plastic shards at the bottom of the letters that I would spend about an hour on each one cleaning them out with an 1/8" chisel. These produced signs that had smooth bottoms to the letters with NO melting. I got about 2.5 hours of CNC cutting before there was some build up of little melted black plastic shards at the bottom of the letters.. still it won't take take more than about 15 minutes per sheet to clean after 4 hours of cutting (compared to an hour each to clean before).. each takes about 1/2 hour to cut. So it works out to about four dollars to save an hour of additional labor if you don't want to have to cleanup any melted bleach... (technical term) that looked a lot like pellets of mouse poop. For me that's worth it - but I can't help feeling if the quality of steel used was better I should have gotten much longer out of it. but maybe that's just the cost of Zero Flute.. sounds very Zen .. If you run a zero flute in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

The cutting edges are prone to chipping
I had 5 and used them randomly ( probably abused them a little if I'm being honest) cutting aluminum. When I examined them under a microscope I saw a lot of chipping on the cutting edges 3 of the five I deemed unusable, the other two had minor damage. Another brand that was in the mix didn't chip like this.

very cheap bit but it cuts through aluminum just fine. I've done 0.22in DOC @40in/s and it cuts like butter. Great for aluminum, polycarb anything soft. The tool life is also pretty good. Not much to say but it does the job.

Never had a problem with SpeTool. These are exactly what I expected. They work great on plastic signage on the CNC.

I'd not heard of these SPE tools until I picked up a few that I needed quickly from Amazon. They're actually really excellent tools, with exeptionally long life if treated well. I've now many hours of single pass profile cutting of 25mm thick MDF and am still having flawless edges, with no visible signs at all of tool dulling or wear. I highly recommend these - they've now become my default for softwood, plywood, a couple hardwoods and certainly MDF.

I'm a fan of SpeTool bits, and this is no exception. I've mostly used these to cut foam board, but also aluminium composite material. The durability of the bit is great. So far, it's as good as their blue coated bits, but at a fraction of the price. My only complaint is these bits are quite short- the bristles on my dust shoe get mangled when cutting thicker materials with these bits.
