Eventually it will break if you drop it enough, but until then it lasts a long time and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kid friendly *by E***M on June 4, 2023* When I took this timer out of the package, the buttons were not functional (the membrane dome shape of each button was depressed) and it was not responding to any of the key presses - perhaps due to the packaging. A few days later I was about to make a return claim, but after it had been sitting out of the packaging, all but one of the buttons returned to normal shape except for the START|STOP button. However, the unit became functional. I handed over to my 8 yr old daughter who immediately figured out how to use it and was able to set the time using the included instructions. It's not the highest quality device, but at this price point is a decent value. The small stand also broke as soon as I tried to unfold it, so for quality it gets only 3 stars.
