Batteries slotted in charger without any difficulty. Clear green indication of charging up and when completed. Neat item not cumbersome and very pleased with this. My second battery took far longer to charge so I took it out at same time as other fully charged battery. Will trt it to sed if it lights up tonight, if not it could be problems with the battery itself as the charger was doing it's job. Well made and reasonably priced and certainly does its job well.

Fast free delivery (Prime), sensible packaging. Looks good. Easy to use and fast on HIQuick batteries but seems a lot slower on older different make batteries that were almost flat, and rejected lots of very old batteries that were fully discharged. I have now dumped those very old fully flat batteries. I have bought a fast mains USB charger that will hopefully speed up this battery charger.

This robust and easy to use charger is amazing value for money, and the brightly flashing display of charging status is very useful. The supplied Micro-USB to USB-A cable measures a generous three feet, is of good quality, and matches the charger perfectly. The charger also has a USB-C port, but you need to provide your own cable if you want to use this alternative. In either case, for many people finding a free USB port will be easier than finding a free mains socket. Do, however, try to use a USB port that can provide plenty of power, so that charging can complete in the shortest possible time. A couple of supplementary points, based on my experiences with a collection of AA and AAA Panasonic eneloops (10-12 of each) that had only been through a few charging cycles, but in many cases had been sitting unused for a number of years. (1) If a battery shows ERR (error) on the display, it may be totally drained - and the instructions make clear that the charger will not work with batteries in this state. I discarded several AAAs because of this. (2) Some reviewers have commented that AAAs do not fit as well as AAs. I did not find this, but did discover that a few AAAs needed a couple of charging rounds (done by removing and inserting them again) before they would show a full charge. My surmise is that this was because they were almost but not quite fully drained, so the charger was able to restore them with an extra effort. There were no such issues with any of the AAs. In summary, this charger is very highly recommended, especially at a price so much lower than many competitive products.

This is a very neat little charger. It is much smaller than my older chargers and will take up to 4 AA or AAA batteries or 2 PP3 (9V) batteries, with a clear LCD indication of the charging status. Each battery is charged independently, one of my older ones will only charge pairs of batteries. It does not plug directly into the mains though, it is supplied with a lead to plug it into a USB outlet. Very happy with my purchase.

Not impressed with this charger as it takes all day to recharge 4 AA batteries I wass under the impression ut was a fast charger I was contacted by the seller and he advised he would refund my money but as to date 28 January.nothing refunded

Ich habe den HiQuick Battery Charger mit LCD Display für NI-MH / NI-CD AA & AAA Akkus nun seit über 5 Monaten regelmäßig im Einsatz und bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Getestet habe ich das Ladegerät mit verschiedenen AA (Mignon) und AAA (Micro) Akkus unterschiedlicher Marken und Kapazitäten (zwischen 800 mAh und 2800 mAh). Alle Akkus wurden zuverlässig erkannt und gleichmäßig geladen. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass alle 4 Ladeschächte unabhängig voneinander arbeiten – so kann man problemlos unterschiedliche Akkutypen und Ladezustände gleichzeitig laden. Das LCD-Display ist übersichtlich und zeigt den jeweiligen Ladefortschritt klar an. Während meiner Tests habe ich darauf geachtet, ob Akkus überhitzen oder ungleichmäßig geladen werden – beides konnte ich nicht feststellen. Die Akkus bleiben im normalen Temperaturbereich und sind nach dem Laden voll einsatzbereit mit spürbar guter Laufzeit.
