Bought these boots to replace my old boots I use for Nordic walking the comfort and quality of the boots was noticeably size and fit was perfect for my feet and this has been proven over the last few months of wearing them. Waterproof is excellent no problems have arisen while wearing them. Sole grip has been positive and after an exercise session my feet feel like they haven’t been anywhere which is proof of a good pair of boots in my estimation. One more thing to note is the in the summer they also keep your feet cool as well. Great value for money and when the time comes to replace I would definitely buy again if there still available.

I have been a wearer of Keen boots for years now and it was always a safe bet that you could order the size and style and get a boot that you could wear straight out of the box. Unfortunately this last pair, made in yet another different country,were longer,narrower and of a lower quality. Thinner rubber toe rand compared to my last pair and bits of the sole studs are coming adrift. I’ve had to get thicker socks to stop my feet slipping in them. I’ve had to make the best of a bad thing as I’m working away and didn’t have the time to try and get it sorted. Another little annoyance is that the shoe laces keep undoing unless you double knot them! This was the same with my last pair. I don’t think I’ll be buying any online again.

I had a pair of Mk II for years, they were a nice comfortable fit - the Mk III were not. Compared to the mk11 they were poorly made. Returned.

After a little over a year (not used because of total knee replacement) these boots split around the so called rand. Parts of the sole also came apart. Keen did not want to know and were totally unhelpful because they were over a year old. No flexibility whatsoever.

Wer breite Füße hat wird mit diesen Schuhen sehr glücklich sein. die "weiten" Ausführungen der Modelle passen sogar auf meinen Fuß und ich musste bisher immer 2 Größen größer kaufen, damit sie sich ausreichend weiten können - was aber immer noch zu eingeengten Zehen führte. Dieser Schuh hat ein sehr angenehmes Fußbett, auch für schwerere Personen (bin ein 145kg Strongman und benutze die Schuhe für die Wettbewerbe und für den Alltag). Ein- und Ausstieg aus dem Schuh ist einfach, Passform ist gut, Komfort ist genial und man bekommt auch keinen Schweißfuß. Wasserdicht.... nein, natürlich nicht, aber man muss schon sehr lange im Wasser stehen bis es nass durchgeht. Beim Motorradfahren im Regen stößt der Schuh dann aber rasch an seine Grenzen, denn über die Zunge dringt dann rasch das Wasser ein und nach ca. 10 Minuten fahrt im normalen schweren Regen geht es dann auch durchs Material. Trocknen des Schuhs geht aber dann recht schnell. Genialer Schuh und wesentlich kostengünstiger als andere "weite" Modelle.

So far so good. I ordered a wide and received a regular but the keen toe runs a little Wider anyways. So they're all set. Good traction. . I Bought them for warm weather hiking. They're Definitely Not for cold weather. Well made one toe leather is a little miss shaped. Doesn't affect anything and you really can't see it without looking.

I bought a pair of these from a local outdoors type store, and liked them enough to order a second pair a month later from Amazon, so I could alternate. I take the dog out for walks/hikes twice a day, and sometimes go for up to 3 hours hikes on our local mountain trails. I have a hard time finding good shoes/boots that don't hurt my feet as I have a wide toe box, but narrow ankles. These were the only ones that didn't hurt the sides of my feet and that I didn't need to get special inserts to prevent pain in my feet. The grass is always wet in the mornings, and we often cross small streams on my hikes, and there have managed to keep my feet dry. The pair I got from the local outdoors store (big coop chain) had a slightly different insole color than the ones I got from Amazon. Within a couple months, or so, the ones from the local store where showing cracks in the material around the outside edges of the toe box, whereas the ones I bought from Amazon have not shown any signs of cracking at all. Other than the insole color, they look the same, but I'm guessing maybe they are manufactured in different places, one more cheaply than the other? After about a year, those cracks broke all the way through and that pair has gone into the trash, while the ones from Amazon are still going strong. After throwing away the bad pair, I bought another pair from Amazon (very recently), and they have the same color insole as the previous pair I got from Amazon, so I'm hoping they hold up as well as that pair, and I'm now swapping between the two pairs from Amazon.
