Professional prints at a value price.
I am brand spanking new to print my own photos. I use this paper with a Canon pixma pro-100. I have tried Canon's luster paper, a sample pack from Red River. This is a nice heavy feeling paper. The print reproduction is excellent, better I'd say than Canon's luster paper. It is on par with Red rivers thicker 75lb artic polar luster, however it is significantly cheaper and shipping is free. A couple things I like. It is fairly water resistant. I have had color shifts on the Canon luster prints when water got on it. The Red river paper and this display much better color fastness. The thickness is noticeable and high quality feeling. The texture on the printed side is AWESOME. For a luster print it lacks the plasticky feel of other luster papers, including red river. It has much more of a natural "gliding feel to it". Other things to note. This paper is slightly warmer than Red river's artic line. I'd recommend using generic Canon ICC profiles with these, the ICC profiles I got off of their website are a little wonky. As far as value, free shipping, and product quality I am in love with this paper so far. I doubt there is a better value out there.

What i would consider great quality photo paper
This paper is incredible. The pictures (printed in best quality on settings) printed with the exact color, perfect hd photo with no distortion. The gloss is a textured gloss, not a flat gloss, but not matte by any means. I'm not a professional photographer but I have seen wedding pictures and these are definitely up to par. I've seen them on flatter texture paper and this to me is much more professional. The paper feels like a good thickness (I took a pic of holding the edge and you can see how much it bends) 5 stars... Been looking for pictures to print cause I finally have paper prints worth framing. (New thought* it would be the same paper school pictures are printed on.) It way way way better than any of the dedicated picture printers pictures. Printing on a HP deskjet 3634 on best quality Photos taken with galaxy s20 note. Ink: off brand bought off Amazon. But takes hp 63 can't wait to try the hp ink. Again couldn't be happier

Compares well with Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl
My usual paper is Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl, but I'm no longer able to find it in 5x7 so thought I'd give Finestra Premium Luster a try. I am very satisfied with the smooth, even texture, soft luster and (after creating a custom profile for my printer) the color rendition seems also very good. The paper weight is somewhat thinner than the Ilford, but for my needs that is not particularly significant. I much prefer the 5x7 size for certain uses, so I'm happy to find a new source of quality, affordable paper in this size.

You might have to experiment with ICC Profiles
I used this with my new Canon PIXMA Pro-100 Wireless Color Professional Inkjet Printer with Airprint and Mobile Device Printing . At first I tried using the Finestra ICC profile, the soft proofing looked fine, but when I sent it to the printer skin tones turned too yellow/green. Instead I just used the Luster profile for Canon paper and the colors came out looking much better. I'm not in love with this paper yet, but I've only made 3 prints so far. I wouldn't put too much thought or effort into such small prints anyways. I plan to get some larger sized paper and I will definitely consider Finestra.

Pretty good paper
Pretty good paper. I had to add a bit more brightness than usual to get all the details in some black and white photos. Otherwise, it seems to do its job of being a good paper at a good price. Check it out or get a smaller test pack if you're not sure. If I were looking to make high quality prints to sell, I'd probably go a little more up-market for something else. This was a great buy to just rip off a bunch of nice family photos for a gift and some randoms for friends. Everyone seems more than pleased with the quality when they see the results. The finish of this paper is a nice break from the in-your-face super gloss papers. I printed and gave away a bunch and I have plenty of paper left to do more. I will definitely be checking out some other sizes and finishes from these guys.

Professional printing at home
I used to print my artwork on matte paper, knowing glossy paper makes colors (especially black) more vibrant and saturated - I just didn’t like how easily fingerprints and dust could get on the surface. However, I got into getting prints done at costco after some photography projects and loved the lustre paper they used for the texture and the fact that it wasn’t too shiny. After searching for similar paper so I could print at home, I found this brand and can say this is pretty much the same thing. I really like that there’s no watermarks on the back. Print quality is great!

Professional
I have done photo printing for ten years on canon and epson 44" printers with roll paper. This is my first desktop photo printer with sheet paper. Kodak Pro Lustre is my favorite roll paper and I was so sad to not see that as an option in 5x7 sheets, but I gave this a try and I think it is on par. I would say this paper is good for professional use. It's not exceptional, but it is a quality standard luster paper which is exactly what I wanted. I have used this on a few orders and my clients loved their photos and that's what counts to me.
