Shame. Once the material wears out they get brighter sounding with less bass. I used them on my cd900st and they really had the ideal sound for me. I'm a bit treble sensitive and a lot of headphones are just too bright for me to listen for long periods of time, but I absolutely loved the sound of these. The only thing I could complain about is the bass extension is a little light, but they make up for it by being very nicely warm sounding. They also tame and warm the sound of the v6 nicely but they're best for the cd900st imo. The comfort is very very good, the memoryfoam is really nice and actually gets softer when it warms to your skin. I can wear them forever, I've even slept with them on. The stock pads on the cd900st sound good and even have less treble than these microfibre pads, but they're not very comfortable. At first I tried the yaxi stpad2 ..pads, but they were way too bright for me so I ended up on these. I'm debating whether to buy another pair.
