Jockey women's zip front seam free sport bra is a great bra for any active women. This high impact seamless bra has removable cups and breathability properties. Review: Best bra for after breast surgery! - I used this for my recovery from breast surgery- a bilateral lumpectomy- and I feel like this bra is largely responsible for my speedy healing. Sizing: I am a 34C and the chart indicated a Medium which fit as expected Ease of use: It was easy for me to put on myself. I did not have to lift my arms above shoulder height and didn't have to move my arm to far to the back to put on. There is a slide hook in the front middle of the bra that enables you to hold onto the bottom of the bra with one hand while you zip up with the other. Support: I have not run or done any sort of high impact exercise with this bra yet but it held everything in place for the moderate activity which my condition allowed as well as during sleep- I felt supported and held together which really minimized pain and I feel sped up healing. There are also removable pads that are in a covered pocket in the front that offered and additional layer of protection and support for my surgical sites Comfort: There were no rough edges or chafing- the end of the zipper did not rub or chafe below (it seemed to tilt up away from the skin a bit upon wearing- not sure if that will be the case for everyone). I did sleep in the bra- I usually don't sleep in a bra so this was not the most comfortable experience- it was a bit restrictive, but as the alternative was pain, I had to appreciate how at least I could change sleep positions painlessly. Also the bra did not cause any additional discomfort from rubbing or digging in during sleep. Quality: It seems to be well made and does not seem cheap or flimsy in its construction. The pads will shift and crinkle if washed without removing from the bra before washing- I would have preferred them sewn in but I guess this offers an option of not using them. I've only owned two weeks so can't speak to durability but will update. Review: Very comfortable and easy to put on, but not great compression - This is really a nice bra. The zipper does lie flat, and it looks fine under clothing (saw a review of a similar item wherein the user complained the zipper would not lie flat). I had the opportunity to try this on at a Jockey store, so I knew which size to order from desertcart. I purchased this so I could put on a bra myself after shoulder surgery, and it made getting dressed so much easier. I would recommend this also if you have arthritis. If you are a 36D, you should be able to fit into a large if you want some compression. If you simply want something comfortable, an X-large MIGHT work well for you. That being said, I'm not certain above a D cup would work well compression-wise, but it will work for comfort. This bra has a hook inside the center of the zipper that possibly is meant to keep the zipper from loosening. I find it very cumbersome, but I have no problem or discomfort leaving the hook undone. After quite a few washes (hand as well as the delicates cycle), I now have issues with inadvertent unzipping when I lean over. The hook does help a bit, but it will still unzip half-way. There is a very nice length of fabric beneath the zipper to protect your skin. I read reviews of similar items that complained about the zipper pinching, so this bra also has that as an advantage over the others. If you have not been fitted for a bra in a while, it would be worth your while to look up the instructions how to measure yourself. Cup sizes have gotten larger, much like women's clothing sizes have become smaller. I like this bra so much, I have one in every color in two different sizes. I have thrown out all of my old racerback bras, as they are so hard on my shoulders to put on.

Love the no-pinch zipper flap, the hook, the shape & comfort, BUT it comes unzipped!
I have saggy, mom boobs, so if anyone can relate, I hope this review might help you! Upon considering breast surgery, I was told I would need a few good front-closure sports bras. Before then, I didn't even know such bra existed (sheltered, I know). I bought 5 front-closure sports bras and want to compare / contrast them so you don't have to buy so many to find which one (or ones) you want. If it helps, here are my opinions (and I didn't get any of these for free of discounted, by the way - paid full price!): 1.) Jockey Zip-front bra (This Bra) Padded inserts for flattering shape, this bra WOULD have been my favorite of them all because of the no-pinch cloth flap under the zipper, coupled with the silver hook half way up the zipper, which is a HUGE help in trying to zip this by yourself, BUT I found the non-locking zipper to be a pretty major setback! As in, the zipper comes down by itself! I alleviated the problem by wearing another bra under this one and that seemed to reduce the strain enough so that the zipper stays put. 2.) Wanayou Zip-front Bra ( Women's Zip Front Sports Bra Wireless High Impact Active Yoga Sports Bras (XL:Fit 34D,36B,36C,38A,38B,38C, Purple) ) claiming to be for "post-surgery" I got the purple one but it is more of a "crayola" true purple than the mauve-purple shown in the seller's pics. I like the zipper covers on the top and bottom which are great for comfort, but a little lumpy-looking under a shirt. The pad inserts are nice to give a little shape and the zipper is amazing for reducing the dreaded uniboob! It is also one of the best for support, but I would still say only low to medium impact for smaller cupped women. As a D-cup, I wear this bra either doubled up with another bra or with a Boobuddy ( Boobuddy Adjustable Breast Support Band Sports Bra Alternative, Pink ). 3.) AM Clothes zip-front bra ( Womens Racerback Wirefree Sports Bra, 34C/34D/36A/36B/36C, Rose Red ) - Anyway, this bra is so similar to the Wanayou zip-front bra, that I had to check the packaging to differentiate. Much of the same applies: It has nice zipper covers on the top and bottom for comfort, but a little lumpy-looking under a shirt. It has pad inserts for shape and the zipper reduces the dreaded uniboob! It is also one of the best for support, but I would still say only low to medium impact for smaller cupped women. As a D-cup, I wear this bra either doubled up with another bra or with a Boobuddy. 4.) Fruit of the Loom Clasp-front Bra ( Fruit of the Loom Women's Front Close Builtup Sports Bra, Black, 36 ) With SIX clasps, this all-cotton bra seems sturdy, but provides little to no support. It's very comfortable and feels much more like a sleep bra than anything you can actively wear during the day if you want your breasts to not sag. It's not padded, just lined with a white cotton liner fabric. With my d-cup breasts, I wouldn't wear it for exercise of any kind, even if doubled up. Best left in the bedroom. 5.) Carol Martin Full Freedom clasp-front bra ( Carole Martin Full-Freedom Comfort Bra -36 Black ) which is more of a sleep bra than a sports bra but with a 4.3 stars out of 2,000 reviews, I bought it anyway. Wins the award for the most comfortable, forgot you're wearing a bra! But it has zero support and although the lace flap covering the claps is a pretty touch, it does make it a little difficult to hook all 5 hooks with the lace in the way. That being said, I have worn this bra to bed every single night since I received it! I am also including pics of the bra closed and partially opened, so you can see how much it actually pulls my breast together and it might give you an idea of the strength / support, I hope. Also please see the picture showing that there is no zipper-lock mechanism! *PROBLEM* Anyway, since shopping for bras when you have "mom boobs" is a tough decision, I hope this review helped! ****UPDATE**** I've uploaded another photo showing how the zipper's stop is ineffective and the zipper "slips" making it difficult to solve this problem yourself without someone else's help... not a situation you want to be in, so maybe this bra isn't worth the trouble.

Comfortable Fabric - NO real support
Iโm giving this one star because Amazon wonโt let me give zero. I wanted to like this bra, especially from a brand like Jockey. Itโs marketed as mid-impact support, but that simply wasnโt my experience. Unfortunately, it offers about the same level of support as a basic tank top with a built-in shelf bra โ and possibly less after a few hours. I purchased a size medium, which is my normal size, and initially it felt fine out of the package. The problem showed up after wearing it once. The elastic stretched out noticeably during the first wear, and by the end of the day the support level had gone from โsports braโ to โlight suggestion of a bra.โ For something labeled mid-impact, it just doesnโt hold up. This might work for lounging or very light activity, but I wouldnโt trust it for anything athletic. Thankfully I wasnโt actually working out โ I was just digging and planting in the garden โ but by the time I finished, I was DONE with this bra. The front closure is convenient and the fabric is soft enough, but support is the whole point of a sports bra โ and thatโs where this one falls short. If youโre looking for real support, you might honestly get more from a decent shelf-bra tank. I expected more here, but this one didnโt make the team.

Good thing it has a hook to keep it closed
These bras fit as expected. I don't really care for the removable pads. They are a little difficult to put back in. I washed it one time and forgot to remove the pads, and they folded up. it is now hard to get them to stay flattened out. It keeps folding back up. Also, you need to be sure you lock the zipper in place. If not, it will come unzipped. Good thing it has a hook to keep it closed.

Comfortable and supportive
I got this bra for a partial mastectomy I recently had. I wore this prior to โbreak it inโ and it was super comfortable. After my procedure, the front zip was perfect for my husband to help me get dressed to come home. The support and comfort since has been great. Totally recommend this bra for normal wear and a breast procedure.

Lovely bra, but be careful with sizing
After having major breast reconstruction surgery, I found myself in desperate need of a compression bra that I could live in for the many weeks of healing time ahead. I ordered several different bras with the features I need most. These particular features are: stretchy fabric that will provide superior support and compression while maintaining absolute comfort (since I need to wear the bra 24/7 except for showers) and allowance for drains in each breast. I also required a front closure and found this bra has a wonderful little clip that holds the bra together while you wrestle with the zipper. Yes, I had many special moments trying to zip the bra up!! However, if I rate the wrestling factor between 1-10, 10 being the easiest, this bra would rate a solid 8, compared to the bra my surgeon sent me home in, it having front hook and eye closure with a wrestling factor of a very stressful 1. The two other styles of bras that Iโve purchased are similar to the hook and eye closure in the front, as well as the stress of putting these things on. Agh! Forget it. So back to this braโฆ.i found the sizing listed with the bra purchase info to be off a bit. My size is not even listed so I went with what I normally wear. It was very small. I used it because I needed it but found myself wriggling and pulling at it and the need to take it off completely unless I wanted to scream. It was little, but honestly everything else about the bra was nice so I ordered one size up for the next delivery and I could not be happier with it. I should also note that it has removable pads inside the bra. They come out easily and can be replaced just as easily. They are nice to have if you want a little extra coverage while wearing thin-material shirts or dresses. One other note on this bra, I havenโt had any problems with the zipper coming down or sliding off at all, even with the smaller sized bra I have, but I did make sure that I locked the zipper once the bra was on. I hope this helps others in their decision on whether or not to purchase this bra.

great except for the zipper
This sports bra is wonderful, except for the zipper. It's comfortable, fits well, nice and stretchy where it needs to be. It doesn't have all any of those "adjustable" straps that dig into your skin or get loose. It would be perfect except that the zipper is cheap. The first one I bought I had to return because the zipper was broken when it arrived. I have been wearing the replacement one and in the couple of weeks I have had it it has already failed to zip up properly twice. The zipper aligns incorrectly making it a struggle to get it unzipped again so you can zip it up. I don't recommend buying this unless they put a better zipper in. It's a shame too, because otherwise, it's perfect.

But the scratchy fabric is the worst part, especially when you are sensitive after surgery
I find this plastic fabric way to scratchy and the bra is rather tight, I had a reduction surgery, I am on the small side and the medium is not something I would be able to wear all day and, definitely not at night. But the scratchy fabric is the worst part, especially when you are sensitive after surgery. It's probably an ok sports bra if you are not that sensitive?

Average
Okay but the padding is really visible. Also it does come quite high on the chest so some gym tops are not suitable

Fits well and comfortable
The sizing is accurate and they are comfortable. I have three of these in different colors. The fabric is good quality but the beige seems softer than the black or white. Might be because because I started with beige and its had more time to get worn in. Good product.
