I purchased this book looking for help in overcoming a different illness to MCS that shares some of the same features. The authour's suggestion for retraining the limbic system is similar to one my therapist uses for overcoming anxious states - and it works. This was the first time I applied this suggestion to my symptoms and I was surprised to find it works well for me, so far.The book is easy to read and understand. I found all his ideas to be helpful and doable.The authour seems genuine and unpretentious, as well as altruistic in his desire to help people who have walked the same desperate path that he has in trying to overcome illnesses that your average MD can't help with.

On delivery it smelled like cat urine and febrese. It was horrible due to the reason I bought the book. Also, this book has about 500 words in it... to sum it up it speaks of mind over matter.

Forty pages of rhetoric.  There is nothing in this book to help someone with MCS and I feel bad for anyone who purchased this book out of desperation for a cure.
