Donโt follow the instructions!
This is a really nice fan. It moves a lot of air and looks good. But I really donโt know what they were thinking when they decided how the fan gets attached to the mounting bracket. The instructions tell you to attach the fan to the *underside* of the bracket. Thatโs dumb for 2 reasons: 1. That essentially prevents the fan from being adjusted side to side at all. The fan frame hits the bracket. Very annoying. 2. Physics! If you attach the fan per the instructions, the entire fan is hung from the bolt. This worsens the fan vibration and will fatigue the bolt over time. Probably not enough to cause a failure, but no one wants a wobbly fan that looks like itโll fly off the wall at any minute - which is what I got when I installed it their way first. Instead, put the fan on top of the bracket (see my photos). The fan is then supported by a very robust bracket - in this configuration, the bolt only keeps the fan in place and doesnโt support the fanโs weight at all. This results in much less vibration during operation, and thereโs also way more side-to-side adjustment possible. One caveat: the little handle on the fan will prevent it from being oriented totally perpendicular to the floor - thatโs not an issue for me since Iโll never want the fan in that position anyway, but thought I should mention it at least. (Disclaimer: follow the instructions for the rest of the install - donโt get me in trouble, yโall. I attached the bracket to wood studs with the recommended lag screws and itโs solid as a rock.) So - in summary - this would have been a 3 star review if Iโd have followed the instructions. But since I didnโt โ I got myself a 5 star fan. Hope this helps!

High Quality Industrial Fan
This is a VERY nice fan. It is well built, heavy, and moves a lot of air. The bracket and yoke are sturdy and easily adjustable. I hung it high on a wall but may move it to the ceiling to give it a greater degree of horizontal rotation. The steel L bracket can be mounted either way. A safety cable is included for overhead mounting. I bought the fan for room air circulation in a fairly large shop with baseboard heat and it does this well on the low-speed setting, pointed slightly toward the ceiling. The noise level is also very acceptable on the low speed. It's quite a bit louder on the medium and high speeds but also moves a tremendous amount of air. The air movement can be easily felt on the far side of my 40' shop and should be great for hot summer days with the doors open. Advertised power usage is reasonable at just over 1 amp on low speed and just under 2 amps on high. Overall, a great fan that looks like it will be around for a long time.

High quality, heavy construction, near jet engine air movement on high! Choose your mounting location carefully!
High quality, heavy construction, and likey would power an ultralight fast enought to race a jet! The bracket supplied was designed to mount to the wall or the ceiling. My chosen location was the garage wall, intended to move hot AZ air out of the garage, which it does well. I would caution anyone purchasing this fan to choose their mounting location carefully. The fan pivots 360 degrees on the bracket, but with the bracket mounted to the wall the back of the fan is only about 12 inches from the wall which, when parallel to the wall the space does not provid enough airflow to feed this monster on medium or high, causesing it to cavitate causing extra noise and significant vibration. That is ok for me as I mounted it on the side wall of the an oversize 2 car garage, 2/3 of the way into the garage and point it outside. However, if I desire to rotate the fan to blow at the opposing wall, I can only run it on low, again ok because on high would likely plastered me against the wall! Overall a great fan with expected noise that will last for years! Pick a spot to mount it that allows for pleanty of air flow into this monster!

Easy install and moves a lot of air!
This fan was easy to assemble and mount. You need to get your own lag screws and make sure you're screwing into a stud, but otherwise it's quite simple and it feels very secure on the wall. The fan is fairly quiet on the low setting, but definitely loud on the medium and high settings. The power cord is long enough to allow you to mount the fan high. I do have one concern which is that it seems slightly out of balance. There is a vibration that is not serious enough to be concerning, but it's audible. It's possible it could cause the nut to work loose so I will check that after a few weeks to see. Also, it's a bit of a nit, but with the design of this mount, you can ALMOST turn the fan 90 degrees to blow air to the side, but not quite. An extra inch on the mounting arm and you could have turned it any way you want. That probably wouldn't bother most people, but for my application I would prefer if I could turn it just a little bit more.

Works Great, move alot of air.
I mounted my fan centered in the garage mostly to direct the air flow out of my garage when working on various task. It's great for moving toxic fumes out such as brake cleaner, carburetor cleaner or exhaust fumes. It's also great for keeping the work area cooler, most of the time I have it operating on low speed, I do use high speed when using my table saw or miter saw blowing any sawdust excaping my vacuum system out of the garage. Debating on purchasing a second one and moving the existing one and the second one near the corners for more complete coverage. The fan has very good power and low noise on low speed. The noise of the fan is more noticeable when on the higher power setting. (The noise would most likely be acceptable in a commercial setting.) There is no remote control therefore I installed a Alexa controlled power strip controlling the fan and additional work bench task lighting.

Finally!! A worthy fan!
I read a ton of reviews and ordered a BLT Hard 4600 CFM 20" fan... it was crap and I sent it back. I needed two stout fans to put over my stalls to circulate air in Florida during the summer. The BLT Hard one only pushed air in one, narrow path and barely reached the center of the stall from about 10' up. So, I did NEW research elsewhere and found these. What a difference!! This is a stout, heavy, workhorse of a fan. It was fairly easy to mount the bracket, but the fan is HEAVY so make sure your ladder is secure! I took the advice of another reviewer and mounted the fan ABOVE the bracket, not below it. It makes way more sense that way. I'd rather it not have all of its weight hanging on one bolt. I also bought one of those plugs that turns your appliances on with a remote so I can turn it on and off from the ground. Very handy. WARNING: most "chain pull" fans are DONE if the chain gets accidentally yanked out. You can't just open it up to put a new chain in as you would think you could. This is another reason I bought the remote option. As long as I have the fan set at a good speed for my purposes, I don't need to pull the chain at all. Lastly, I'm not sure what all the "noise" fuss is about. A powerful fan makes noise and I don't think these are any louder than one would expect them to be. Maybe a lot of first-time fan owners out there?? Mine is set on medium and the sound level is totally reasonable. This is a great fan for the money.

Complete crap product and service.
Decided to lower the rating to one star. Now the 3rd one has stopped working. Cannot believe they call it commercial. Worst product and company wonโt back it after 13 months. Save your money. Ordered a tornado now to give that a try. Avoid this fan, it cannot stand up to a warm garage or humidity. Previously reviewed. This is the second one I bought. First one was used so I figured it was that. Turns out this brand is crap. Just over the year warranty and now it wonโt go to the high setting. Just runs slow in just a few days over a year. Really unfortunate as I have one in my other garage which I am assuming will also break down soon. I would avoid this brand. It just cannot handle being used very much in the heat.

Just what I needed!
Needed to cool off the garage cause summers can get pretty toasty in there. Its a mancave/work area/workout area so I spend a decent amount of time in there. Thought about A/C but real expensive so I thought I would give this fan a try. I mounted it up higher on the wall towards the ceiling near the corner. Easy to mount...found the stud, mounted the bracket with (3) 2 1/2" 5/16" lag screws with washers (lag screws aren't included and instructions say use 2" but I wanted a bit longer ones), bolted on the fan, angled it down and done. I did try the fan to make sure it was operating properly first. I also ended up plugging it into a remote controlled outlet (3rd pic) so I wouldn't have to pull the chain every time, only use the chain to change speeds if I want to. Gotta say, very impressed with this fan. ZERO wobble and it kicks butt, moves a lot of air for sure! Yes its not real quiet on high but no fan will be that moves that amount of air. Probably will run it on medium most the time unless I'm working out. Love that I can power it on/off with the remote too. I'm glad I chose this fan after looking at so many on Amazon and I highly recommend it!

Perfect workout fan!
I have it mounted in the workout area. This is a QUALITY product, when they say industrial grade they mean it! This thing feels like it could keep a hurricane at bay! Very satisfied!

Great fan!
2nd purchase, I use a fan controller (bought separate) to bring the fan speed down. Great product.

I love this fan in my garage due to the fact that it is very powerful for blowing the air around to make the conditions much more comfortable to work in!
