Great head torch for the price. Was used to explore a disused mine. Nice and bright, and a decent battery life

The Klarus is a little more pricey than some headtorches out there but it is well made, has a good, solid feel to it and is also quite stylish. Comes in a handy acrylic storage box along with the head strap and charging cable (USB). The torch has plenty of brightness settings from "turbo", which is akin to sticking a car headlight on your forehead, to a very useful "dim" setting that is perfect when you want to be a bit more unobtrusive. The motion sensor activation works perfectly (it can be a bit too sensitive and be triggered if you move your head too close to a wall, branch or other protruding object) and it means you don't have to remove gloves to fiddle with switches to turn the thing on and off. I've not had chance to test the battery life (Lithium rechargeable) yet but no reason to doubt the claimed run times of 2.5 hours on the "turbo" setting up to 70 hours on the "dim" setting. The only thing that is "missing" from this torch is a red light function for maintaining night vision so if you require this you will need to look elsewhere. That said, the "dim" setting on this torch shouldn't interfere with your night vision much at all but is still enough to allow you to broadly see where you are going / what you are doing. Overall, a nice quality bit of kit that should last a while.

I bought this headtorch for work in November 2023 (currently January 2026) and while the elastic has now perished the torch part is still going as strong as it was when I bought it over two years ago. After writing this review I plan to order another torch just to get a fresh headband. The torch is super bright and has various settings which works great for different jobs. As far as headtorches go this one is definitely the one to go with as I have never had a problem with it. Even when it runs out of charge, a quick 5 minutes connected to power gives it more than enough juice.

This is a lightweight, USB C rechargeable headtorch with a single elastic strap. What I wouldn't have given for something this bright, lightweight and rechargeable in my hillwalking days 20+ years ago! I find the band easy to adjust and comfortable. The light itself is bright enough for all the activities I need it for: like walking down to the end of the garden at night. You can can adjust the brightness, and swivel the beam up and down. It's also easily rechargeable with any USB C cable, although I seldom need to charge it as the LED bulbs don't use much power.

This is a good headtorch, long battery life, bright and with a good headstrap. But...... I can't find a good reason for the motion sensitive feature, it goes off as well as on so if you're up close to something it's not ideal being plunged back into darkness. Also the torch bit could do with a neoprene/foam cushion on the back as it does start to press into the forehead.

Intuition to operate, bright enough for many outdoor activities.

Heeft 5 standen, die makkelijk te kiezen zijn. De sensor stand werkt ook goed. Ik gebruik hem bij het nachtvissen op karper. Is erg comfortabel om te dragen voor langere tijd of zelfs mee te slapen.

TOP !!! Cette lampe Tient la charge Longtemps, à tel point que même si je m'en sert ponctuellement je ne la recharge qu'après 2 jours d'utilisation. Elle est douce sur le front et même en bricolant durant des heures on fini par oublier sa présence sur notre tête. Son intensité d'éclairage est suffisante et il y a 5 possibilités de choix d'intensité lumineuse, dont à l' extrême un éclairage très fort avec (phare central + 2 barrettes intenses), et à l'inverse un éclairage faible avec 2 barrettes en éclairage très doux. Elle est robuste et très agréable à utiliser sur le long terme. C'est un produit efficace, solide et bien conçu.
