Fluval Bug Bites Color Enhancing Fish Food for Tropical Fish, Flakes for Small to Medium Sized Fish, 3.17 oz., A7348, Brown

I bought these flakes and they are a great upgrade from the API tropical flakes I was using. The flakes are bigger, more "crunchy", and just look more "appetizing" haha. Picture shows Bug Bites on the left and API tropical flakes on the right. You can easily grind them to any size you need based on your fish. All my fish love them...more than love...they go freaking nuts for them! Gold Honey Gourami, Harlequin Rasboras, Platys, Corydoras, Amano shrimp, RCS, Snails. EVERYTHING in my tank eats them (in additon to a few other foods occasionally). These flakes is also better for your fish health and water quality compared to others. I have noticed a little color improvement but let's be honest, flakes are flakes, and there are higher quality types of foods for selective desires (live/frozen foods). The container is a good size for the money and happy with my purchase.

Go to as far as general fish food. Keeps them healthy and helps a lot with color too.

ALL of my fish love this food. I use it in multiple tanks with many different species. Packaging is always good and sealed tight. The color enhancing has my large school of harlequins looking crazy red. I use this food and many other varieties alternated for good health. Great price at or below inferior products.

Love the bug bite food

I saw this food as a recommended quality food on an aquarium forum so I thought I would give it a try. I have a lot of danios, tetras, and a couple gouramis, and normally just feed them Tetra-Min flakes and frozen brine shrimp as a treat. I give them these Bug Bites a few times a week and they almost fight over them. The only issue I have is that the flakes are quite large and I have to grind them up in a small bowl so that the smaller fish can eat them. Otherwise, these are great as an occasional treat!

Didn’t realize how big this container was until we received it. Our fish love this stuff. We try not to give them flakes often but we have found every one of them love these, including our betta.

I have alot of fresh water fish bettas, tetras, cichlids, silver dollars, Angelfish and a few more fish. They all love Bug Bites Flakes. Fluval is a top name in Aqurium products and you can see why if you try this your fish will love it. I haven't had any fish that won't eat this stuff. And I do feel like it improves the fishes color. Just try it bet your fish will love it.

Not actually great food

The pure ingredients makes me very happy to know I'm feeding my fish good food, and he loves the flakes which are easy for him to eat when I grind them a little smaller, and he eats them all before they have time to sink,leaving his tank cleaner. His colour is also much more vibrant I have noticed! I will be buying these again.

I honestly thought the color enhancing thing was a lie but you can definitely tell a difference - good amount of food for a good price

I've been using this stuff for about 4 years now and my fish go crazy for it. Even my loaches who used to wait for food to sink to the bottom will swim up to the top of the tank squabble over it. Also interesting, I've noticed less fish losses since I started using this food. My fish are all 9 years old now, including two Denison Barbs who usually have a life expectancy of 4-5 years.
