Great little flashlight for everyday use
Love the size on this one. Small enough to clip to a shirt pocket, toss in the glovebox, or carry around without noticing the weight, but it doesn't feel like a toy. The adjustable brightness is the real win here. The low setting is genuinely useful as a reading light, soft enough not to blast your eyes out in a dark room, and the high setting throws serious output when you actually need it. Runtime on the higher settings holds up well too, it doesn't dim down after a few minutes like some lights do. One thing I appreciate: no strobe function getting in the way. I know some people want that for tactical use, but for a light like this it's just an extra button press away from the mode you actually want. Glad they left it out, or at least didn't force it into the mode cycle. Overall this has become my go-to for small jobs around the house, glovebox emergencies, or just carrying in a pocket. Doesn't try to be more than it is, and does what it does well.

Honestly can't think of a single complaint
I rarely write glowing reviews, and I complain about just about everything when a product deserves it. This flashlight, however, has been outstanding. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought a second one for a friend because I knew he'd appreciate it. I haven't put it through extreme "survivalist" torture tests, but for everyday use around the house it's just about perfect. It's bright without being gimmicky, feels solid in the hand, charges easily with USB-C, and the controls are intuitive. It's become the flashlight I automatically reach for whenever I need one. After months of use, I honestly can't think of a single complaint—and coming from me, that's probably the strongest endorsement I can give.

Good reliable survival light.
I purchased this light because it is powered by double A batteries. Most emergency management camps supply these batteries for radios and flash light battery packs. If you run a survival bag and bug out, double a cells are your best option because most gas stations, and physical merchants carry these cells. I do backpack and carry the panasonic cc 87 double a battery bank and charger with eneloop rechargeable cells as a back up for this light. The light has good throw and is light weight for the performance. I've seen a few complaints of battery cells rattling in the light. Mine does not rattle. This is with eneloop rechargable batteries. The lanyard is a nice feature. I run the lanyard and it doesn't seem to get in the way. The clip will work on a ball cap if you reverse it and run it torward the power button. Good thin ergonomics with this light, I can hold it over my left thumb and draw a pistol. I have no first glance complaints at all. I won't use the clip except for my ball cap. Some reviewers complain about the placement. The light power is all anyone would ever need. For the size, function, and value it's hard to beat. If you're a backpacker, it's important to know this light is difficult for accidental powering on. The rear power button is also momentary for signaling, but I don't think it can power on by itself in a bag. I recommend leaving the light in firefly mode in case this ever happened.

Quality, bright, and small
PROS; -Made with good quality materials making it feel like it's "not cheap" -For its size it's very bright!! If your out camping or hiking around in the dark it's all the light you would need to safely get around. -It takes AA batteries which I prefer because it's easier to throw new batteries in and go and not have to charge the light creating down time if your out in the field. -The strobe feature is bright enough to effectively blind whomever it's pointed at. CONS; -Even though it's good quality I believe the price is very high. You can get a light that's not too much smaller for 1/4th the cost that will get the job done the same. I believe the price point should be half what it currently is ($25-30 range). -Its a small 6 inch light but it's almost an awkward in-between size were it's not small enough to just stuff in the pocket and it's big enough to require a belt holster but the size makes it hard to get a holster that actually fits well. -The clip on it is placed center mass on the pen light which is kinda useless because of the size and weight the clip needs to be on the end. So for me personally at work it's hard to carry unless I'm wearing the right tactical pants with a pocket that will work so I find myself often using my smaller easier to carry light. If I could get a tightly fitted holster this wouldn't be an issue. -Its a wide beam of light so I find it not as helpful as some of my cheaper smaller lights that have more of a focused lazered beam. Sometimes when conducting searches of vehicles it's too much of a spot/flood light. (Parking enforcement officer) Usually I'm not wanting to light the entire car up rather I just need a focused beam to search the dash for paid tickets. This light blows my cover because it's so bright which may very well be a PRO for you depending on how you use it. Overall it's a high quality very bright small 6inch light that's definitely going to get the job done!

Good value for a solidly built bright flashlight
This is a bright, solidly built flashlight. Small (the diameter is barely larger than the batteries) enough to go anywhere, but brighter than you would expect. Not the brightest ever, but maybe brightest for its size. I especially liked that the on/off switch is separate from the function buttons. Edit: I have a Nitecore flashlight that's brighter, but since this review I find myself grabbing this one again and again because of its small size and bright light.

A Favorite!
I had several flashlights that simply don't work. I needed a good, reliable flashlight once I got my new puppy for night potty trips. This flashlight is great. It never acts up and does the job. I like the very low light option. I only wish it had a red light option as well. The rapidly flashing light option could be handy if you were in danger, but having to click through that option to get to the one you want is cringe worthy. Still a great flashlight!

Best all purpose light I have ever owned!
This light has been in my pocket next to a pocket knife for about three years. The 4 stage brightness adjustment makes it great whether turned low to get my keys in the bedroom next to my sleeping wife, or turned up all the way looking to see if its deer, elk, or bear 100 or more feet away in the garden. I've dropped it in the creek, it survived. I use it at work, where I'm a senior plant mechanic and its great to see wiring, plumbing, non illuminated screens, you name it! When the batteries start to go, it will dim a bit so I swap in a new set of AA's once a week generally just to keep it at its brightest. It won't light up the world, but it will fit in your pocket. I've purchased streamlights, coast, and dozens of other lights, but this is the one I will stick with. They take a drop well, but I did mangle one when it fell off my service truck bumper....where I forgot it. Mind you, the truck weighs 32,000 lbs. All that ramble said, buy it!

Great little flashlight for the price!
I bought this flashlight on the recommendation of a few “best of” list that went through. It was the number 1 on many lists and the price was very affordable. I have been a devoted fan of the Nitecore brand for many years. Love their stuff albeit a higher price (~$60) compared to ThruNite. The reason for only 4 stars is this flashlight will randomly stop working on many occasions. I’ve owned it for about 2 months and I can say in that time it has happened about 8-10 times. That’s a lot and dependability is not a small issue. I don’t like shaking, tapping, clicking, disassembling a flashlight when I reach for it to use since that’s why I’m reaching for it..I need it to work now. All that being said for the price paid it’s not a bad one. I will probably go back to Nitecore since it never happened with theirs in 10 years time.

Strong compact torch
Works well, feels robust and strong. The casing feels like it will last well and the battery charging process is simple. I’d definitely recommend this product. But I also wish I’d paid a little extra for the 1000 lumens option (I got 500 lumens). Bear that in mind when purchasing

Bright, sturdy, feels like a very expensive and well-crafted item
Feels great in the hand, three light intensity modes, ability to rotate the clip (e.g., to clip to your baseball hat). Love the looks and the performance (so far, at least!)

Small and efficient
It is part of our survival bags (car and home), we choose for this one as it is small, solid and can be adjusted in terms of how much light you want. It has additional features which are nice also for camping trips - proper distance - kids proof (my kids dropped it a few times and still working like a charm) - different lumen pending on what you need - waterproof (again kids who dropped it by accident)
