Actually works and much cheaper than paying for syringing.
I bought this because I was pretty desperate to relieve an ear blocked with wax. I knew that my doctor would just say "Put olive oil in it" but who has time to wait weeks for olive oil to do anything (if it does)? Private ear syringing is expensive, so I was feeling pretty fed up (and deaf one side). I saw this had good reviews and it seemed like a safe product (which is important because no one wants a burst ear drum). I ordered and the Vafee Ear Wax Remover arrived the next day. It is very easy to use and it doesn't hurt. I was amazed at how much wax came out and I could actually hear from my blocked ear again, which was such a relief. I have used it a few times since for maintenance and will continue to do so. I think if you have a very blocked ear, it is probably worth softening the wax with olive oil/drops for a couple of days if it doesn't remove all the wax first time. This is a great product and so easy to use. Plus it works!

Awful, potentially dangerous. Avoid
I bought this to help clear a build up of wax. Arrived quickly and instructions were studied. Carefully placing the corkscrew shaped device into my ear I rotated the device slowly following the guide arrows. Nothing came out, no wax, a clean corkscrew. Placed a few drops of olive oil in my ear, waited a day tried again. Repeated the ‘treatment’ again nothing came out. All it seemed to do was push the wax deeper into my canal. End result? 90% hearing loss in one ear, a sense of my ear swelling, raging tinnitus and dizzy spells. Called a hearing specialist who arrived next day, cleared the blockage with ear irrigation syringe in minutes. Hearing restored, 50 pounds later, with advice from the specialist of the best place for this device was the bin. Total waste of money that could potentially had damaged my ear drum, a few days of wild discomfort and deafness, and 50 pounds out of pocket. Avoid at all costs

Earwax Remover
Advertised as an earwax remover and easy to use. Certainly easy to use but I found it fiddly and it certainly didn't remove any wax! But I'll keep it because perhaps I had no build up to remove.

Don’t expect it to do what your ear doctor does, but do give it a shot!
I think a lot of people are expecting this product to do the same job that a certified otolaryngologist can do... which is simply not the case. If you suffer from severe wax buildup, this product won’t do much for you because you most likely need to go to one of these specialists so they can soften your wax and remove it themselves. This product is, however, really great for general ear cleaning! The tips are very soft and flexible and they’re not long enough to reach your ear drum. For me, this product helps me to shift some of the softer wax in my ears that I get from wearing earbuds. It’s genuinely a good product as long as you use it properly and don’t expect it to shift years of thick wax buildup in one session. This product was best suited for my younger brother who has autism. Since he was a little boy he had this major phobia surrounding people touching / cleaning his ears and the sight of a cotton swab would cause him to cry and run away (even if we were just using it to clean the outer ear). Now, as an adult, he’s a lot better with q-tips but due to the fact that q-tips aren’t the best thing to use for ear cleaning (dangerous, even), using this tool was incredibly easy and helpful. Due to the soft material the tips are made of, he wasn’t bothered at all. Helping him keep his ears clean is way easier now! Great product, helpful for everyday light earwax removal

Very good little tool
Very good little tool. Easy to use and clean. Designed to clean the front external ear canal (the part people would see). It’s not designed to go all the way down to the eardrum as that would be dangerous. It works well. The only way it could be improved is if it could also include a selection of heads that are slightly wider or thicker but it still works perfectly fine.

Re-useable Earwax remover
Re-useable Earwax remover. I purchased these after lots of research. A family member raved about them. I'm not so convinced. I liked the idea they can be washed and reused and thought it would help 'save the environment' from disposable ear buds. I also thought the different colours would be good to identify whose is whose in the family for hygiene reasons. I found them difficult to push into the ear and didn't want to press too hard in case of damaging the ear drum. They didn't seem to remove much ear wax. I have returned back to my old style disposables as they seem to clean the ear better. May suit some people but not for me.

Easy to use, soft, no pain, job done!
I have had a lot of wax build up in my left ear, I used Otex etc to soften it and stupidly went in with a cotton bud to remove the wax! Obviously this pushed it further in, the result being I ended up with about 30% hearing in that ear, ringing and a painful ear. Tried holding a hot water bottle to it, no joy. Our docs dont do syringing any more because of Covid, Specsavers do but its £55! I booked an appointment but then I saw this wee beauty on Amazon when I did a last desperate search. I'm so glad I did! It arrived today, ripped it out of the packet, picked an attachment that I thought would fit my ear canal (it did) and got to twirling in the direction shown. Instant bliss, seriously! I will definitely recommend to everyone, its fantastic, Im away to cancel my Specsavers appointment now!

Easy to use, safe and works.
This arrived quickly, and the package was small enough to go through a letter box which always a bonus. The product is as described, very soft and flexible to unlikely to damage your ears if used with care. I've managed to remove a lot of wax from one ear, less from the other (presumably a reflection of the original blockage). Certainly seems more effective than the drops I've tried in the past, and you get the physiological reward of immediately seeing what has been removed, which encourages further use. I've found its best used after a bath/shower, where the warm moist air had a chance to soften the wax. So far I'm using it once a day, aim to reduce it to once a week when the initial wax removal has completed. I've been cleaning the tips with warm water and hand soap, which seems to work OK. Silicone rubber should be dishwasher safe, but so far I've chickened out of trying that.

Produit merveilleux
A product that is easier to use than a scouring pad. Very gentle on the ear and will pick up wax as described. Cleans well and comes with a series of tips for long term use. Too bad not to have known it before, I would have avoided a rather painful ear treatment to the doctor.

Not recommended
I purchased this earwax removal tool expecting it to be effective, but unfortunately, the white spiral attachment is completely useless. It feels flimsy and does not remove earwax as advertised. The concept seemed promising, but the design of the white piece is poorly executed and feels like a waste of time and money. On the positive side, the metal tools included in the set are decent and functional, but overall, I can’t recommend this product due to the failure of its primary feature. Save your money and look for a better option.

Basic Q-Tip replacement
The tool is easy to use easy to clean. The silicon tip will remove basic, soft wax near the top of the ear canal. The tool is something you would use for regular maintenance. The tip is soft, and doesn't appear to be something that will damage too much as long as you are careful. Jamming anything into your ear with force is likely not smart. If you have a plugged off ear canal from wax then this tool alone is not going to help you. This is a better alternative to the classic Q-tip, but will not replace the visit to the doctor for a warm water flush. For the price I would recommend it as a q-tip replacement. Will do the job and last forever never needing another box of Q-Tips.

Fait ce que ça doit faire / Does what it's supposed to
I used it a few times and sometimes there was wax and sometimes there wasn't. I'm not the kind of person with big was blockage problems so it's normal that stuff is not always coming out with it. It's really confortable and it's really easy to clean. With 16 tips for 2 people we won't have to buy any more for a while. There were no instructions with it though and I think it was lacking (like how far you're supposed to push it in the ear) but still it's pretty easy to use and you just have to twist following the arrows, We tried something and cut off the fine little bit protruding from the end of the tip so it starts with the twist and I think it's better this way so I recommend you try it with a few of your tips. Anyway, it sure is better (more ecological and safe) than cotton swabs which you should never put in your ears.
