I tried to use this for an RODI setup for continuous use and it gets very hot. The manufacturer says that it is not designed for continuous use and gets very hot, my fault for not reading. But I did end up testing it on some other stuff anyway and it works great. Also the company makes a motorized ball valve made for continuous use, since the solenoid was very good for what it was designed to do I’m sure that the motorized ball valve will be just as high quality. So, I installed this shutoff valve in-between the aux tank and the 12v fuel pump. I wired both to the same switch, both- open and pump at the same time.
