This powdered shake actually taste good when you mix it with juice or coconut milk. I thought juice would make it nasty but Pineapple juice mixed with this in a smoothie will have you smacking your lips!!! I’ve been working out for 2 months now. I drink it in the mornings and after a hard workout. It doesn’t disagree with my tummy and I feel good and healthy after drinking it!

I'm only on my second day of drinking this but I love it. It doesn't seem like a taste I would get tired of. It tastes completely different than whey protein. A stronger taste for sure, but the vanilla tastes like melted ice cream with a hint of vitamins to me. Plus the little bit of fat in it helps it to keep me feeling full. I was finally able to get through a no carb day with this.

I have been using this protein powder for a breakfast shake for 5 years. I like the taste and I've tried several other brands that I didn't like the taste as much. Even my husband who hates artifical sweetners likes this protein powder. The problem is that with my latest purchase the powder smells and tastes wrong. My first thought was that they had updated or changed the formula. I am know wondering if I got a bad product from an Amazon distributor. My plan is to start buying it from a brick and morter store and no longer trust Amazon for food products.

edit 5/2/23: Changed this from 3* to 4*. So I've been leaving this in my cupboard b.c of the strong taste, but last week I decided to give it another shot. Instead of using it in my smoothie though, I added the powder to milk. That was actually pretty amazing. So, for me, it's a big no no to use this in smoothies bc it clashes against other flavors and dominates, but it's great when the medium is milk! original review 1/13/23: While these powders are unnecessary for most with a good diet, for those times that supplements are needed, this one can fill that role. The problem is that the taste is so bad that I can't bring myself to give it anymore stars. I tried adding like 1.5 teaspoons-yes, TEASPOON-to my smoothie, but the taste is still there and pretty strong too. Oh, and it tastes nothing like vanilla

The plant based protein come with a scoop inside. I like the texture taste. I put it in the blender to make my shake along with other fruits. It dissolves pretty good. Would get it again.

Have been having Vega in my morning smoothie for over 10 years or so, and finally writing a review. I have stopped a few times or used other brands, but truly believe this is one of those regular things that has kept me healthy, active and performing into my 50's. A scoop a day has kept me moving, and healthy - not stopping, only getting more! I use the vanilla flavor, rather have fruit be the flavor. It blends really easily, doesnt have that chalky taste many do, and is pretty good value for money in comparison to others I have tried.

I really like Vega products and have used them for a while, but I was disappointed with this recent purchase. I paid around $30 for this item, and when I opened it, the container was barely half full. For the price, that feels misleading and frustrating especially since I truly enjoy the brand and the product itself. The quality and taste are great as always, but the amount inside the container does not match the size of the packaging. I’d love to keep supporting Vega, but I hope the company addresses this issue and provides more transparent or fuller packaging in the future.

Has a strong vanilla flavor but i like it and as with all plant based products has chalkiness to it. But there's a way to improve this. Simply make ahead of time. Let sit for a few hours. Recipe I use, 2Tbsp of peanut butter, a double shot of espresso and 12 oz of milk with one scoop of powder. Waiting to finish but will try a different flavor.
