This is a fantastic comforter for the price. It's fluffy & warm & the oversize king option allows both of us to have plenty to cover us up. Locally made so it delivered quickly. It may be too heavy to use year round but it seems really well made & keeps us comfortable. While sleeping.

I am so excited about this duvet! Several reasons: 1) it’s a super king and therefore bigger than our regular king size bed - so when our 140 lb dog jumps on the bed, there’s still covers for me! 2) it’s very fluffy! I specifically wanted “down alternative” (aka polyester filling) bc it’s always puffier and stays fluffier longer and easier to clean, etc, etc. I love how I can pull it up to my head and it puffs around me like a cloud. 3) It’s warm! I am always cold but I sleep hot - so I sleep on a chilipad to regulate my temperature and also keep the temp ~67° but I like to sleep under a lot of blankets. I’ve had this 2 nights now and so far I have stayed toasty without overheating. (And this is with a sheet and thin comforter as well as the duvet in a cover.) The only con is that due to its size, it takes 1 person 8-10 min to put the duvet cover on. Oh - and it doesn’t have tabs on the seam between the corners for tying the cover to. Just corner tabs. Anyway; very happy with this duvet. Sleep and comfort are subjective and it meets my criteria! PS No smell OOTB and fluffed up quickly, but I hung it on a clothesline overnight to air just in case.

So amazingly comfortable

Selected 120"*98" due to our dogs like sleeping on the floor @ bottom of bed. However, our cat has dibs on hubby's side. White or any other color would get dirty really quickly. This is the perfect size for our king bed. It's fluffy, warm & beautiful! Indeed, no more fighting over the covers! Shipped & arrived in excellent condition & even shrunk-wrapped. Ordered like new & saved. Great value for the money. Very thick. Haven't washed yet, so can't comment on that feature or shedding. All-in-all, we're happy with our purchase.

I like this comforter. It's very warm and durable. Material is soft and washes well. Would give 5 stars if the individual pouches were filled a little more with down. Nice design and size.

This is our second Gray Eagle king size duvet. We got the first one about 6-7 years ago and retired it this year because it was stained and had grown worn from washing. I chose to order our new duvet from the same company because we loved the first one so much. It's an ideal winter comforter and will keep you cozy, even on nights in the dead of winter. I look forward to getting under it. I don't recommend it for all seasons unless you live in a place where it is always cold. It retains body heat well, though I've never felt sweaty in it. It is also heavy, weight-wise. The weight can make it difficult to maneuver around, which is part of why I opted for the 120" by 120" size; since it is square, there is no "right way" to put it on. I love the extra length that lets it drape off both sides of the bed. The weight and length make duvet theft less likely, if you know what I mean. Going by our past experiences, I recommend washing this as seldomly as possible. The filling, though it is sewn into the boxes, will ball up inside. Also, the duvet is huge and won't fit into a lot of home washers. Instead, I suggest getting a duvet cover and washing that unless very soiled. Our old duvet probably would have lasted us 10+ years if we'd used a cover. If I had one critique, it is that I wish this had more than 4 loops for tying a cover on. It is pretty huge. If you're shopping for a winter duvet and want to be cozy and warm, I don't think you can go wrong by getting this.

It has been many years since I wrote a review. my comforter arrived today, very nicely vacuum packed. I usually buy the 700.00 dollar plus comforter's. Never again... this thing is Beautiful. I shook it out a couple of times, flipped it over shook it out again... Done deal... my bedroom looks better than a 5 star hotel. I even went out to surprise my girl and bought some mints to go on the pillows. when she arrived I asked her to grab my phone from the bedroom and lets just say it' a very very comfortable comforter...

It’s definitely heavier than I initially wanted it to be. If anyone knows the Kohls “The Big One” down alternative reversible comforter that goes on sale every Black Friday and are one of their biggest hits. That’s the weight I was looking for. It’s a perfect “all-season” weight for arizona fall and winter. So when this comforter arrived and was fairly heavier than that, and appears thicker than that, I was a little bummed. I did account for the extra sizing, since I purchased the 120x98 one, but regardless... anyhow. I went ahead and shoved it into the duvet i bought and gave it a whirl last night. It’s amazing! It really wasn’t THAT hot. There is some weight to it, but I typically sleep with a weighted blanket, so it doesn’t bother me much. But it feels like you’re enveloped in a cloud!! I love it! I hope as it cools down more and dips more into the 50’s in the bedroom, it’ll be even more amazing. While it’s still mid 60’s, I have to stick my foot out occasionally. As for size. I typically buy my husband and I, separate comforters because sharing sucks. If one person wants just a teeney bit more blanket, the other suffers. There is so much excess that i could tuck myself all the way around, And my husband would still be able to cover himself sufficiently! The end corners just barely graze the floor when made. It definitely has that bedroom store look that everyone always tries to emanate, but can’t quite seem to achieve because the comforter is too short!

Love my new comforter so far. Nice and warm this winter. Will have to see if we can use it in the summer as well. Great size for a king bed.

Great oversized duvet. Very heavy weight to it. Hangs over my huge king-size bed perfectly. Did come with a few threads hanging. Should be able to fix that though. Now to get a cover for it.

Pleasantly surprised, this is a great duvet! No more fighting for the blanket, it is amply sized, so far very happy!! I would purchase again. Yes, I would recommend it!
