He was so happy with these that I gave them a try. I agree with him -- these are much easier to use and much more precise. They seem to be strong and nicely made. The sculpted handle is pretty easy to grip (we both have arthritis in our hands) which is important since they are very sharp and one would want to have good control over them. I also appreciated the plastic storage cover for the tips as the cover helps avoid any unpleasant accidents. A note of caution: I would be extremely cautious or avoid using these completely on children.
