First of all, I use Pacino's products and never have had a problem with them. They do what they say what they will do and more compared to other manufacturers. I ordered my beard pen as I always do, but this one particular time when I got it used it, it only worked right with the first application and went dry. Before any of you jump to conclusions, I did put the cap back on it and I always keep it in the box upright. I sent Pacinos a message regarding my experience and how displeased I was and I want you to know they immediately responded and sent me out a new beard pen and it works great. Great customer service. I will continue to use their products and you need to as well. Thank you Pacinos for caring about your customers 👍👏

Let me caveat this review first: I am one of those people who doesn’t normally leave reviews, and’s when I do, I try to leave a generous review that highlights the good aspects and minimizes the negative things, because I know that it is basically human nature to criticize and spread negativity vs. spreading the positive news (the feather in the wind vs the bowling ball trope), but I’d be doing myself and any future customers a disservice by keeping my experience to myself. I first ordered Pacino’s beard pen and brush a few weeks ago; only the pen arrived. I wasn’t going to live with paying $15 just to get a beard pen and no brush. I returned it via Amazon and re-ordered the exact same thing. UPS came the following day to pick up the erroneous order, and my “correct order” came the following day as well. And after trying multiple times to use the beard pen (which now came with the brush), my benefit of the doubt mentality/attitude gave way to the fact that this new pen was pretty much dry. Just recently, I use some tissue paper and rubbing alcohol, and applied that to my cheek line to make sure there were no oil‘s or anything else that would cause the beard pen to not mark the skin properly. I made sure my skin was dry as well. I tried the beard pen on cleaned skin, and still nothing… I’m not going to order a new one, I’m simply going to find another product from another maker. Big fail, Pacino’s. You’re supposed to be this highly reputed manufacturer of men’s products; you just lost a customer. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Very useful when needed quick and simple!

I naturally have a pretty full beard, but I got this to help fill in some thinner areas around my cheeks to make it more prominent. I noticed a difference right away with just a few passes. The brush that comes with it for "blending" is very rough and it hurt my face from where I had to constantly blend the product in. The pencil filler is so easy to brush off that I had to redo it a couple times. The bristles hurt and my face was in mild pain for about 45 mins after using the brush so much in one spot. I will be using a different, softer brush, for sure. For those who are checking product quality, I also scanned it on the Yuka app and it only got a 41/100 and came up as poor quality on their scale. If you aren't familiar with the app, you scan food and makeup products and it will tell you how good they are for you or your skin. I don't use it everyday, but I bought it just to have for special occasions and whatnot. I will probably do more research to see what else is out there though.

It goes once you wash it the pencil is very dry barely puts any shage or lines on your beard not worth even a dollar
