If I feel I am going to have a hard time sleeping, if I am having an extra anxious time, the work week has paid a toll on me and need to disconnect or if I feel stressed and grumpish and need to chill out... this is THE pill. It takes effect right the way and I can feel it. It soothes you down. If you need to sleep it helps, but if you still have part of your day going it also chills you down without feeling weird. No dependency so far to the point I forget some times I can use it for aid. Really important is no side effects or need to increase dose to feel the effect. It just works and I am really thankful it does.

Holy Crap! My mother who has EXTREME anxiety tried some I bought for her and now we have three bottles. One for her, one for the vehicle and one for me to have on hand for her.

In the UK these pills are sold for cats and dogs, and British vet friend recommended them for my cat as I was moving him to the UK with me from CT. He is a terrible traveller but these definitely took the edge off. He certainly wasn't a happy camper but he didn't defecate as has happened before on even the 5 min trips to the vet and he didn't foam at the mouth. I started him on half a pill a day mixed into his food about a week before the move and it worked wonders. About an hour into the drive (only one hour of howling!!!) he just settled down and was calm-ish right to the other end. Might not sound great, but believe me it was far better than I was expecting! I would say check with a vet before you use these, particularly for cats as they have such a different physiology. I'm not sure whether the FDA/USDA has approved them for use in animals in the US.

I don't believe that swallowing a pill, whether it's homeopathic, natural, or, whatever, is a good strategy for stress relief. But I like this product as a gentle sleep aid. When I was given some samples of these De-Stress an MD's office where the rep told me they were made from milk extracts and worked on the same principle as the warm glass of milk grandma used to offer before bedtime -- I tucked them away. Occasionally I use Melatonin before I go to bed, especially if I've had a busy day and don't have time for a proper bedtime slow-down and shift of activities at the end of the day. But melatonin knocks me out for 9-10 hours making it hard for me to get up early. I like these better. I'm peri-menopausal and frequently have hot-flushes and night sweats accompanied by the aggravating insomnia that seems to be common after them. There's no way I can take a melatonin at 3am - I'd sleep til noon. But the De-Stress taken at 3am helps me drift back off to sleep shortly and still be ready for the alarm at 7am. They are pricey, but handy to use from time to time. As for dealing with stress - a better approach is something like the tools in the book, The Inner Game of Stress. Taking a pill for stress is wrong headed - treating the symptoms and not getting at the problem is a bad idea where stress is concerned, because stress can make us really really sick.

I’ve been using this product for a while now. It has improved the quality of my sleep dramatically. Im pleased with this product.

Works for stress rather than script meds.. Does make one sleepy some. I use one, my 400 # son often uses 2.

No noticable differences, plus, NO RETURNS. Buyer beware. Not worth $35.

These capsules are very effective in calming the mind and getting the body ready for the sleep cycle. I did not realize their effectiveness until I stopped taking them and went back to restless sleep. Time to reorder!
