A Gemstone
Very nice product. Easy setup , machined parts are perfectly designed. Appreciated the effort and thought behind designing such a great product. Pays for itself !

Does not generate much electricity
The unit did not generate very much electricity at 15' even though there were sustained winds at over24 miles per hour. The company took back the unit and provided a full refund. The company was responsive and easy to work with.

As expected
This turbine has supplemented my solar enough to nearly eliminate the need for my backup generator to be run.... Without appliances or television. The initial charge controller never worked, however, customer service sent a replacement very quickly. I am unsure about the amount of charge being received, and given the charging capabilities, This is definitely not a primary charging option. Wind that charges at 5-20 amps, over maybe 5-15 minutes, really will not provide much of a charge at all. However, 24 hours (or a couple hours)of high winds has the capability to charge very nicely.

Hopefully Ile figgure it out
Could be 5, but I figgure im biggest problem, dont have much wind in my area an 5 mph an 7mph it doesn't turn, that wind speed thing dont have a battery in it, an place were battery goes looks as if part of the whole outer covering an never cut to were could be opened to check on battery

Nice lawn ornament. PRODUCES MINIMAL POWER! NOT WORTH THE EFFORT TO INSTALL!!!
Sturdy construction, relatively easy to assemble, (the base mount requires welding though). Not too loud in high wind, but it produces almost no power. The best I was able to get out of this in the highest winds, was only 23Watts. I even swiped its own controller with a Renogy MPPT and the output was the same. WHAT A WASTE!

INSTALLED ON SAILBOAT
Great product so far. I installed this on my sailboat at the very stern. I had the base welded to an iron pipe ($20 weld). I also added an additional 2" of fiberglass over the deck 12" around the base of the pole (4" total), then ran a single 8' iron pipe all the way through the deck, bolted through with top and bottom flanges. Then ran 4 guy wires from 6' up the pole to the deck. Once the pole was installed, installing the turbine was easy. I'm using the turbine to charge a 2-battery bank in parallel and a 3000W inverter. Consistent power draw with VHF's, stereo, bilge pumps, a 2.5 cubic ft fridge, phone chargers, etc.......is 200-300W. In 10MPH winds or higher, the turbine provides enough charge to maintain battery charge. Lower than that, I can cycle the inverter off and maintain. I intend to add 600W in solar panels to the turbine soon.

Works great with strong winds and 10gauge cables
I’ve been using mine for about three weeks now, no issues at all. Installation took me about an hour. Highly recommend using 10gauge cable at least until you get to the controller and battery bank, which are installed about ten feet away from the base of the pole, so I have like 30 to 35 feet of 10gauge cables. Mine is installed on a 22 feet tall steel pole. Where I’m at I got constant winds of about an average of 22mph and let me tell you this thing never stops. It doesn’t bring the rubber that goes between the base of the windmill and the pole. I made one out of an old bicycle tube. So far so good. No issues at all, great constant energy generation. My batteries are always between 12.7 to 13.2 volts. For now I have a set of two deep cycle batteries that produce about 60amps, I run two sets of lights that draw 27 watts/h for about 10 hours a day, a 12v pressure pump that runs for about 30 minutes daily and a 1000watt power inverter. My batteries are always over 75% charged. I’m giving just four stars because it didn’t bring the rubber for the base and I think that is something very simple to address so I hope they change that. Apart from that, I think this thing is great.

Great wind power project
The unit is easy to assemble and the wiring is straightforward. What is not apparent is that user must design and build the tower and weld the bottom plate to a piece of pipe. That by itself is more expensive than the turbine. Then connectors, wires etc. Raising the tower with the turbine is a hell of a deal, particularly if you want to reach the recommended height. It is a great experience though and the turbine look good. The product support is fantastic and very responsive. If you need parts, they will send them.

15w @ 3 m/sec wind velocity
I will update further down and tell you about power production at various wind speeds. Let you know the actual. So, update, 25.6kmh wind is producing 67w. Correction 20 km/h consistently is 60w output.

Useless without high wind speed
Looks great but but but. No usable power without constant wind speeds over 50 km/hr waste of money and much time. Should have spent the money on more solar panels and batteries!!!

Easy to install.
The set up is simple especially with the right pole.
