Q: Can you store this in your truck on its side?

I bought two of these recently, and they are really fragile. I would only recommend using this on a perfectly level surface, therefore truck storage is not ideal. One of the products that I purchase is leaking hydraulic fluid at the base of the tower, and I only used it twice. I am not sure if a repair is even possible.

Q: What is the diameter for the top ram on the 4Ton jack? I'm looking to see what size lift pad will fit this jack.
