Burris Fullfield IV 2.5-10x42mm Hunting Scope

Replaced a really old scope that originally came on a rifle. I love it

This is a great close to medium range scope. Clarity is great. Very minor edge deformation at high magnification setting. This I mounted on a bolt action in 6.5 Grendel 20” barrel rifle. Prefect magnification range for this setup. Large field of view a the 2.5 setting. The overall compact feel on the scope matches well with the rifle I have it on. Burris is my go to scope and this has that quality that keeps me buying them.

Great Scope and what a Great Price! I have to admit, I am a HUGE Burris fan. I have them on 5 of my rifles, and they all perform very well. The best thing about This one.....was the great deal I got on it. Simple, straight-forward, mounting and controls, with QUALITY glass.

Great glass and an awesome scope that performs as well as scopes costing 4 times as much. Believe me I know.

View is clear even though only multi coated lenses. E3 Illumination is great with "off" detents between each brightness setting. Windage and Elevation adjustments are properly independent and do not interfere with each other. After mounting it only needed a windage adjustment of 16 MOA to align with bore sight LASER. So far I believe it to be a good buy. You will need to order lens covers since they don't even include a bikini cover!. Mfg's website lists objective as 49mm and ocular as 41.5mm but I measured ocular to be 42.5mm and my cap fit is so perfect that I cannot believe anything less than 42.5 will fit. Since caps are a must-have and info is incorrect, I only give it 4 stars. Now that I have the proper caps, I will go for a test run. Will update review if necessary

As good as my Leopold scopes and red light cross hairs are perfect for early or late hunting.

I have about a dozen or so Burris scopes all made in the USA or the Philipines. This 2.5-10x illuminated reticle is made in China. When you shoot the scope goes blurry for several seconds. Every time. Bore sighted, Shot 3 shots at 50yds. One hit upper right, one hit upper left, one didn't hit the target. 3more rounds moving the elevation what should be 6" at 50yds (12" at 100) resulted in a slight change in POI. sort of got a pattern on the far left of the target, move 32 clicks which should put me close to center. first round far right almost off the paper. 2nd shot bottom of the target. 3rd misses. Again, blurry every shot like something is loose inside of it. I was sub MOA with the old tasco that was on that gun.

Works great with my 6.5 300-500 yards and dialed in 🎯

A little more money but the optics are worth it.
